I 100% understand the whole arm length thing, but man I’d have a hard time passing on Bain. When he’s on, he’s a game wrecker.

What about the 11 of 14 games he wasn’t “on” this year? I just don’t see him as a major upgrade over Chase Young. We need someone who can actually get to the QB and not just a bull rusher.

Yeah I’m totally out on Bain, don’t care if he’s an option at our pick. Especially if one of the top guys like Styles is available and he’s at a position of need

I wouldn’t want to pass on him for a reach(no pun intended), but I would absolutely take Styles if he is there over Bain.

I’d take Delane over Bain if Sonny isn’t there.

i'm less sure of this. Do we need another boundary corner? Be nice to have one, sure. I definitely would take Caleb Downs over Bain, however. I think Downs is more of a sure thing than Delane, and can slide right into the Alontae Taylor role.

I think so. I can’t confirm because 1) I didn’t pay that close of attention and 2) no pff, but it might have been Trip that said Alontae played boundary on base snaps like first down.

Be nice to have a full time boundary in front of koolaid

Half his sacks and tackles came in 3 games. I’ll admit I didn’t watch every Miami game, but the 4 or 5 I did watch, I was watching to see him since we looked to be on the way to a top 5 pick and pass rusher was such a need. I was not impressed. He did great against tOSU and aTm, vanished against Ole Miss and played okay against Indiana. He just didn’t impress me at all during the season.

8. New Orleans Saints

Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State

Longtime starter Demario Davis reunited with the Jets in free agency, and his reliability and durability will be missed in New Orleans. He started at least 16 games in all of his eight seasons with the Saints, who can now turn to one of the most distinctive players in the class in Styles. The safety-turned-linebacker had the entire football world buzzing with his combine performance, but he's much more than just a workout star. Styles has excellent range, a quick-trigger in the running game and strong coverage instincts.

Back to the OP, this would be the best scenario for us to fall into IMO.

Yeah I’m surprised Field let him fall this far here, but maybe the Giants addressing LBer in FA changes things for the board

I’d be ecstatic with this scenario if we miss on Devin Lloyd

He posted a 90+ PFF grade and was 2nd in the country in pressures. You don’t get that by playing well in only 3 games.

He had like 8 pressures and a sack combined against probably the 2 best offenses in the country
