why would he go there? They would have to give up 3 first round picks for him and they still don't have QB there. Have you seen Prescott? Yeah he piles up some yards but you aint winning a championship with him.

Can someone explain his contract situation?

We own the rights to him forever correct?

If he comes out of retirement and wants to coach somewhere else they have to trade for him right?

That You believe this is sad.

Payton will coach Cowboys within 2 years if he doesn't break the bank on tv.

Why is it sad? If you truly believe Jerry Jones would agree to step back, relinquish control of his team, and allow Sean to make personnel decisions, and coach the team the way he wants, you are kidding yourself.

He won’t have to wait the entire three years. After 2 the price will be very cheap, you either take this and release him or he will wait another year and you get nothing.
As the new coach SP will not want to lose draft picks and will give up a washed up player and a few crappy draft picks

This would be a good thing for the saints. Right now, we're getting nothing for him. If cowboys trade for him, we could be set with 3 1st rounders

I see you've been claiming to have a source. Lol, but anyway. If so what's your source saying Dallas will give up to get him?

too early. Not at that stage yet. Or are you not aware that an NFL team can't openly court another team's coach? Tap dance has commenced....

Are you not aware of what Sean Payton himself said. He seemed pretty clear in his press conference today that at this point he's not trying to coach next season.

But here you are claiming to have a source that says differently then the man himself.

I'm not naive to think he won't be back, but I don't think it will be next season. I think he does TV for a year, then decides if he is coming back if a good situation is open.

But I dont claim a source. I only listened to what he said today.

He could be and I don’t care. Those were 16 great years and I thank him for that
