The main part of free agency is over with the majority of sought after free agents now gone but they still have a few corners on the market that can help us and hopefully be willing to take vet min money deals with performance bonuses.

The one I like the most to get is aj bouye, who was a really good corner a few years ago on Jax and Hou. He was cut by Den due to being the 2nd highest paid player on the team and being suspended 6 games for performance enhancers. He still has to serve 2 games this year so we maybe able to get him at reduced costs. And he’s only 30.

The other two I would look hard at are Garron Conley who was Lattimores running mate at Ohio St and Bashaud Breeland who started in the last two Super Bowls, so how bad can he be.

These guys prices should all have come down and we have a starting position available on a playoff team. I’d feel a lot better if we can get one of these guys before the draft.

Before Conley’s season ending injury, for all of the 2020 season, he was allowing a 108 passer rating. Dude is garbage.

Gareon Conley had complications from his offseason arthroscopic ankle surgery, rehab didn't go well, issues affected mobility, flexibility pain level during camp. There's no expectation from the team that pending free agent will play this year and will remain on injured reserve

I don't think he played much in 2020 and was still hurt.

He is similar to a tj carrie type player. Neither player is going to stop you from drafting a corner high in the draft.

Breeland has been a solid cover guy I wouldn't mind. I think Sherman will be the guy since the trail has gone cold on his talks similar to Jared Cook a few years ago.

Here's a new name. He was cut recently. Probably too expensive for us though.

Steven Nelson, CB, Steelers. Age: 28
Steven Nelson is a quality starting cornerback, but the Steelers had to cut him due to financial reasons.

I’d rather stay away from Sherman unless he is the absolute last resort and takes the min. He’s closer to what Browner was for us than Breeland. Slow corner over 30 and past member of the legion of boom. Too many similarities. Was burned a few times in the Super Bowl two years ago causing the 9ers to lose.

TJ Carrie is still the best fit. Not the most talented guy out there but known as a good dude/great teammate.

Not a CB, but I found a good player that got released on Friday...

Seahawks released DT Jarran Reed.
The team spent much of the day attempting to trade the 28-year-old but was unable to find any suitors. His release, ignited over a dispute on converting a portion of his salary into a signing bonus, will create $8.975 million in cap space. The No. 49 overall pick of the 2016 Draft, Reed still has a number of serviceable years left to offer any team willing to add him to its trenches. He'll comfortably find a home as a rotational player in a matter of days.

I was usually see what Corners are from LSU, Bama. Florida, or Ohio State.

Those schools seem to attract the best talent, even if they were backups on their own college team, I would take a flyer

We don't want bama players! Nobody should have to root for those clowns.
