Minnesota was 2nd ranked offense in 98

Minnesota:
1st in Points - 556
2nd in Yards - 6264
1st in Passing Yards - 4328
1st in Passing TDs - 41
11th in Rushing Yards - 1936
8th in Rushing TDs -17
58 TDs to 20 Turnovers
Denver:
2nd in Points - 511
3rd in Yards -6092
7th in Passing Yards - 3624
5th in Passing TDs - 32
2nd in Rushing Yards - 2468
1st in Rushing TDs - 26
58 TDs to 20 Turnovers
Hmm, they are pretty close. Same amount of TDs scored on offense (though Anderson scored 164 points to Elam's 127), same amount of turnovers, both over 6000 yards of offense, both with a 1000 yard rusher and 2 1000 WRs.
The only real difference is TD having a 2000 yard 21 TD season on the ground compared to Robert Smith's 1187 yard 6 TD season.
Moss and Carter 29 TDs
Smith, McCaffery, and Sharpe 26 TDs
I can understand the Broncos being ahead of the Vikings, but not with that many other teams between the 2. If anything, the Broncos should probably be around 5 or 6 and the Vikings around 7 or 8.

list is a joke
list is a joke

They omitted the 2001 Rams from this?! That team scored 503 pts and were the league's best offense that year.
Posted on 6/19/17 at 9:40 pm to ThePTExperience1969
Do you know how to subtract 30 from 2017?

Offenses are ranked by points. Minny was first
Posted on 6/19/17 at 10:51 pm to Lester Earl
Who decides that? I believe offense is ranked by total yards which Minnesota exceeded Denver at, however they were an average rushing team whereas Denver was top ten in both offensive categories therefore they were more balanced than Minnesota that season considering they both scored the same TD amount.

Wonder if they'll release a list of the 30 greatest defenses of the last 30 years and how much they slight the 1991 Philadelphia Eagles in favor of the popular favorite 2000 Ravens. Maybe 10 spots? Lol, what a travesty fraud.

Garbage....Yards....
Pretty easy to rack up large amount of yards in a 3=40-10 route. A little more difficult to string together multiple touchdowns.

They have one every day this week. Defense, special teams, total team, and individual season.
Posted on 6/20/17 at 12:38 pm to Mystictiger
1991 Saints were ranked 16th in best defenses.
Posted on 6/20/17 at 12:56 pm to Mystictiger
If the 1991 Redskins aren't ranked 1 in the total team category, that isn't a valid list. That team was as close to absolutely unbeatable as any team that's ever played, certainly any team over the past 30 years.
