Hired the wrong coach.
Signed over the hill free agents while letting two in their prime free agents go that are near the top at their position.
Gave Winston a two year deal instead of one coming off a major injury.
Traded CGJ for peanuts while causing a massive hole at nickel back that caused us to lose a few games.
Traded a top ten pick to the Iggles along with our 2nd next year and other good mid draft picks for a receiver who will likely just be a very good #2 in the league.

Just waiting on Loomis to trade our best coach in history for like a 3rd or 4th to put that cherry on top of this shite season.

Saints Report rejects will downvote you, but the rest of us understand and agree.

The off-season wasn’t good and i agree. But TM turned out to be a solid signing. The defense was top 10 and damn near top 5 in ppg allowed. Maye, Winston, Dalton, Allen, Carmichael (biggest one) were major mistakes. I don’t like the trade with Philly looking back because of the qb situation. But to call Olave a #2 wr is asinine. It’s as if you didn’t watch him play. He was the best wr in this draft class and went over the 1k mark while missing games and Dalton throwing for around 200 ypg. The kid is a game changer and has game changing speed. Losing CGJ was hard but the defense was fine. He is an absolute cancer and he’s still spewing venom and talking crap about his former teammates. All in all the off-season was a failure but To call Olave a #2 is just not intelligent.

If olave pans out, the 1st round picks last year were good. Got to find a way to turn Sean Payton into a qb and find an OC. We aren't winning the Super Bowl next season, but I think the saints can win the south with a good offseason

That’s debatable. I had Wilson and Jameson ranked higher going into the draft. Wilson had better numbers with absolute trash throwing him the ball this year. Jameson hasn’t played a down yet. Still think Wilson is better but we will see.

Dalton was the best move the front office made this year. He was signed for 3.5 a year and ended up with a top 10 qbr. That’s tremendous value for a qb. I did think the front office made the right choice in letting Armstead walk. That’s the only two right moves they made. Mathieu is close to being washed, never in my life since Deion have I seen a secondary player scared to tackle.

Dalton was a good move? Lol. There’s a reason those ratings are worthless. The guy avg 205 yards passing a game. Even a game with under 100. In the league that literally hands out 300 yard passing games to half the qbs in the league. Lol. Dalton is horrendous. Not even sure how anyone is debating that lol.

Also, Williams played this year. Limited snaps but he played a good bit down the stretch or the season.

It was honestly the worst off-season that Loomis has ever had.

In the context of bringing him in as a backup, yes. He's a good backup QB.
