Even with incompetent coaching the team is still way too talented to be picking top 3. Jayden is shooting up draft boards. That was never going to happen with this roster this year. These guys aren’t going to “tank” for a future player. It just doesn’t actually happen

Gayle is much different than Tom.

How do you expect her to given her failure as an owner of a small decorating business?
She’s shown she’s loyal to a fault with Lauscha and Loomis where she should be seeking a Bill Polian type on advice to turn this ship around. Gayle is more likely to listen to the Archbishop on football matters. We’re fricked as DA, Loomis, etc are symptoms of an owner in over her head.

I know her personally, and she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. She was a failed business woman who was in debt before she married Benson (had an interior design business). Lauscha and Loomis call the shots, and Loomis thinks he has “the right people in the building” for the Saints, so we’re stuck in sports purgatory for the foreseeable future.

Of course he does, he’s the one who hires them. Like you said, Gayle isn’t smart enough to talk to people outside the building to get a “real” assessment of how bad Loomis has fricked the team for years to come.
If anyone thinks an owner who can’t run a simple decorating business is going to lead a successful NFL franchise you are deluded with your black and gold shades.
