How sad that the overwhelming majority on this site have no idea what freedoms our men and women fight to protect. They fight to protect the freedom to kneel for the anthem, to peacefully protest, and the right to burn that flag if they so desire.

If Drew can't understand the pain flowing thru his black teammates right now then fck him and everything he's ever done for the city. They need him? Right, he needs them just as much and he might want to listen instead of thinking his way is the only fcking way. He did this sht before and got away with it.
If you can't understand you black teammates, then why have any. You guys are right. They can leave since nobody can have an opinion different than you and Drew. If they have to respect his opinion, then you all and him should learn to respect them and what they stand for as people different from you.

see this is the problem. Where did Drew say he doesn't empathize what his black teammates are going through? He didn't say anything about the movement or he disagreed with protests.
Kneeling during the anthem isn't for him and he has his reasons. That is all he commented on, quit making it about something its not.
