He coached offense, not defense

reminds me of people who were saying Golden State was missing Alvin Gentry when the Pelicans hired him and then they went on to go 73-9

I don’t get the urge to be a premature hot take artist. You posted before they finished the first drive. People are already posting about next years draft. Why can’t people wait and see what happens before you make an arse of yourself?

And Philly takes the lead with 3 TDs in the first half as I type this out.

Was he supposed to take over their defense?

After watching the whole game, Phily's offense was the Jalen Hurts show last night. If he was normal last night, they lose. That was not the offensive machine from last season.

So, maybe losing Kellen did have an effect on them. I call shenanigans on the first quarter hot take from the OP. However, he bumbled his way into a point after seeing the whole game.

It’s always been Sirianni’s offense

Offenses are usually behind defenses early in the season. ESP with a new coordinator.

A team looked worse after 8 months off than they did in mid season?

Holy shite!

I would be interested to know who has the most downvotes in TigerDroppings history. It may very well be nicholastiger or Slippy.

saints talk won't admit it but you're right.

Their offense looked average at best. Brown had 1 catch. Saquan could barely get 60 yds. They were basically shut out in the entire 2nd half.

Hurts played his arse off to get them the win. there was nothing creative or anything that motivated points besides Hurts.

They absolutely missed Moore in their first game

ETA: and Dallas shut them down without Parson and had a bunch of rotational guys on their Dline. This games was all about Hurts.

If lamb and Sanders didn't choke, this is a different story.

Their offense play calling was mediocre.

The Eagles controlled the back for 20+ minutes of the 2nd half. They used the Chiefs playbook of slowly picking up first downs and playing keep away. Did you even watch the game or did you just look at the final score?

SFP has to be up there, just because of the number of at-bats.
