Announce he is retiring before the playoffs, to create a great story line for the NFL to be able to use to increase ratings.

That is what it takes for the NFL to allow you to get to the Super Bowl. Now couple that with the Drew Brees racial redemption story this year and a Saints Super Bowl will be ratings gold.

This is the year fellas, its happening.

Idk, remember when Payton wore the clown shirt?? Like Latoya, Goodell will not be bullied.

He's gotta survive a Titanic NFC Championship tilt with Brady, who arguably has a great storyline of his own by winning #7 with a different team.

Lol yeah. Wait until the games start and the officiating kicks in. It will be a uphill battle throughout the playoffs.

Brees didn't announce he was retiring. A reporter announced that Brees was likely to retire after the season which is the same thing that was being reported in September.

No. If Tampa gets past Washington, they are done in the Division round. Brady is not winning another SB.

All I know is they better be up 2 scores at the two minute warning. Otherwise, the yellow will either fly for p.i if our d is on the field and if our offense is out there the refs will not make any call that helps the Saints offense stay on the field

We talk about storylines and all that and watch the freaking Redskins errrrrr Football Team make it to the Super Bowl.

I know... it won’t happen. I’m just saying.

Well fact is the nfl is a private club run by 32 billionaires running a multi billion dollar empire that has no equal in sports entertainment.

Think what you want.

Thank God Kirk Cousins and Case Keenum aren’t in these playoffs.
