Yeah, doesn't look like anyone is actually reporting shite. The safe assumption is that he signs an extension by the July 16th deadline. I still don't think that it's out of the question that he plays under the franchise tag this season, but still...
I just don't see all the fuss over his contract. I'm curious to see how much it will be for, but the chances of Drew missing time due to his contract or not retiring a Saint have always been very small.
