So is your opinion more meaningful than the military man who advised Kaepernick to kneel?

I don’t think his opinion represents most veterans/ service members.

Your opinion is based on your personal beliefs and has nothing to do with your military service.

You don’t know that.

Thank you for your service, but

Anything before the “but” means nothing!

Just like being a cop doesn’t give them the right to kill people any time they are in an uncomfortable situation.

How many black Americans die at the hands of cops per year? Out of how many interactions between cops and black Americans each year? And how many were armed when they were killed opposed to those who’s weren’t?

You seem to be making a lot of excuses for one segment of a population that doesn’t value life.

quote:

People on the right like to claim how important God, and family, and military is to them. It’s all a lie.

Well, in the world where you know everything; maybe you should find him. You sound shallow and angry.

The truth is being a far right Republican is by far the most important thing.

Conservative. Big difference, Einstein.

That hatred all of you share is a tighter bond than anything else in your lives.

because we are the ones rioting, burning, stealing, and killing?

Politics in general are the main dividing line in this country more than anything else.

So, why did you bring it into sports?

Drew Brees’s statement included his grandparents, veterans (of all races), current military (of all races), where we’ve come since the 1960’s civil rights, and how much further we still need to go. Sounds like a very all- inclusive statement to me.

Yeah, so you clearly have no idea what happened. Like I said, this is why it’s so hard for things to get better in this country with racial issues. There are certain people who just are blind to all of it and act like everything is fine.

Just to be clear, I think Brees is a genuinely good dude, who means well. But, he was clearly ignorant and tone deaf with his comments. That’s why he apologized.

He didn’t apologize for not kneeling and his reason for why he wouldn’t kneel. That was never the issue really, but has weirdly become part of the narrative for people who hate him now. It’s a completely false narrative.

You are an obvious liberal communist who believes people who don’t agree with your agenda should be cancelled. Like Brees. And here we are.

Drew Brees isn’t and wasn’t “tone deaf” (cute how you get your talking points from the MSM.) It’s that buzz word we all heard for days afterwards.

quote:

There are certain people who just are blind to all of it and act like everything is fine.

Blind to what, exactly? The false narrative of BLM?

quote:

That’s why he apologized.

No American should ever apologize to a political movement who are admitted Marxists and whose former athlete leader is a Castro supporter.

Your hubris will be the death of the NFL and any future millionaire black athletes that are made in the future.

You just don’t even realize it yet.

How do you all function in life working with people or having frineds who have different opinions than you do?

do you just walk around and constantly cry when someone disagrees with you in everyday life?

The irony in this post. I’m sorry; but me nor anyone I work with or know burned buildings, rioted, maimed, or killed anyone since May.

As for the “differing opinions” I defer to Drew Brees.

Go on. What did I say that makes you feel for me.

Ratings went down almost 30% in round 1 of kneeling. So, you’ve already lost those viewers. Now, round 2, you think you are going to gain more?

I discuss it with them or let it go, especially if they are good people. That’s why I’m a better man than low character clowns like Jenkins and Michael Thomas.

They came for a guy like Drew Brees. How blind does Lester have to be that they won’t come for him even after his level 10 Vitrue on TDs?

Can you please provide a link or quote or cite some of evidence of mike Thomas being a “low character clown”??? People have been bashing this guy on this board for a month yet not a single poster has been willing to back it up.

I’m not interested in you or any posters idea of what he said. Looking for his actual words or actions.

Anyone who joins in a mob mentality and cannot be a leader of men and attacks a great man on Twitter isn’t deserving of a “high character” appellation.

And none of this has anything to do with how it went down, Lester.

How it went down is irrelevant when they've discussed, moved forward, and let it go.

Explain to me why that matters to you? I have a feeling i know why, im just curious if you'll actually say it.
