He's averaging 370 yards and 3 TDs per game against them. That's just sick.

When's the last time we've won at Lambeau? Probably '06? Seems we're always in a shootout but can't contain their offense enough in the end.

Defense playing a lot better and no discount double check, so here's to bucking the trend.

Just looked it up, 1-4 all time at Lambeau, 3-9 on the road vs Packers.

Difference now: No Rodgers.

And their defense has been almost as bad as ours over the years. Like us they had a couple of good ones, but this is another down year for them.

With no Rodgers we should win this "shootout".

No shame in that. They've had like 25 years of Favre/Rodgers QB play. Thankfully we get the Hundley QB play.

I actually remember the Don Majkowski days when the GM traded for Favre in Atlanta.

Didn't we lose a game to him during the Mora years because of a controversial replay?

Haven't played them since his arm and mobility started to decline. That being said, their defense is trash and I expect Drew to have a big day.

When I say I remember the Don Majkowski days...I remember them on Tecmo Super Bowl(the Nintendo game). I'm in my early 30's. My Saints memory doesn't go back that far.

I'm 40 and have vague memories of it. I think it was a fumble or complete pass that was overruled not in our favor that played a big part in the saints losing.

found it

quote:

With the Packers facing a fourth and 17 at their 48 on the final drive, Query caught a controversial 23-yard sideline pass from Majkowski. In bounds or not? One official said he was out, another ruled he was in and after an officials' meeting, the catch was ruled good and upheld when the instant replay was inconclusive. "We thought he was out of bounds; they overruled it. It's history. We're 1-1," Saints Coach Jim Mora said. "Don felt comfortable going to me. I caught the ball and dragged my foot. It was close and it was up to them," Query said. "I felt I was in. I felt real confident I was in."
