Do yall think that once Drew finally decides to hang it up that he could be a candidate to assume a spot on the coaching staff? You would think he would at least be an excellent QBs coach.

I feel like he knows Sean’s play book by heart so yeah he’d have the plays to do it

Maybe not ours, but I definitely don't see why not. I'm sure his passion for the game will last well beyond his playing ability, and it'd be a shame for his brilliant football mind to retire with him.

...but why stop at OC?

I agree, think he could be a HC. But why would he want to leave New Orleans initially though. Works well with SP and he is the king of the city. If things go really well maybe he could possibly look to be the head honcho somewhere else.

He's not tall enough to be an OC. You have to be able to see above your assistants and the guy holding your headset wire.

I think once he retires, he will be done with football. That will be right around the time his kids are getting into Middle School and he'll be able to be around alot more.

Gonna be tough when he's the mayor of New Orleans.

Brees is gonna get the frick outta New Orleans when he retires. No matter what they say publically, he and his wife hate it there. They'll probably move permanently into the San Diego house.

I just don’t see someone with $300 plus million in the bank wanting to grind it out as a coach much less a coordinator. It’s a tough grind.

I can tell you confidently that's pure bullshite you're trolling with.

It is possible that they start to spend more time in California, though.

Yeah, they love it here so much that as soon as football season is over they pull the kids out of Newman and McGehee and put them in school in San Diego until the following year.

I don't blame them to be honest. If I was a multi millionaire, I wouldn't be raising my kids in a crime ridden, dirty, corrupt hell hole either. San Diego is paradise.

Personally I would rather he bought the team and was owner.

You have a fair point, but you are being awfully rude about it.

Tell us, what part are you playing to make the city better?
