So hypothetically, if Pederson and Reich were both available for Saints to hire, y’all would want Pederson?
Just cause a team wins a title doesn’t mean the head coach was the main person responsible. See 2019 LSU.

Why hire a Super Bowl winning head coach that directed his team to 3 playoff appearances in 5 years when you can just promote Dennis Allen who's never sniffed the playoffs or even had anything close to a winning season? Heads need to roll for the Allen hire.
I pointed this out when I said Harbaugh shoujd have been the hire. He went to the nfc championship 3 out of 4 years and idiots on here still downvoted me and wanted Allen lol. Careful what u wish for.

I still want Reich over Peterson
Hopefully he takes the year off and he's available for 2024

Let’s look where frank reich is and where Doug is right now
Pederson had Lawrence
Reich isn't the GM who built a team ivertedly and couldn't get a QB

They went from the worst record in the league to 9-8 and winning a playoff game.
Urban Meyer
They basically got 2, #1 picks in 1 year
Giants also had a similar turnaround...without playing in the AFC south, as well

Did people actually believe that Allen was a better choice than Harbaugh? I think that's what people refer to as 'low football iq'.

I honestly don’t think it’s that close. Barely heard anyone speak of Pederson after he got fired. Reich will be a hot name. Anyone actually paying attention knows what happened in Indy.
The GM took a lot of heat and got rid of Reich to save his own arse. Ballard all but admitted how badly he fricked up.

Probably the same tards who wanted to proceed with Jameis as starting QB.
"BuT hE LoOKeD sO gOOD In 2021!!11!" they screamed as they completely ignored he was shite in all but 2 hyper-efficient TD games.

I seem to recall saying that last year.

You wanted to hire Harbaugh and draft Justin Jefferson, we know. All that would’ve taken was hiring a coach who wasn’t available and drafting a guy who went before we picked.
I think we should’ve hired belichek and drafted Josh allen

Pederson’s story is cool. Went from coaching high football in Shreveport to winning a Super Bowl nine years later.

Harbaugh wanted back in last year. He interviewed with the Vikes and wanted the job. Vikes choose to go with McConnell. We didn’t even call him for an interview. Saints front office wanted Allen, and that’s who they hired.
Was Belicheck interviewing for jobs last year smart arse or did I miss that?
As far as Jefferson, he went two picks in front of our pick. We just gave up more than an entire years worth (top 10 1st, 2nd, two 3rds, 4th and a 7th) of draft picks to move up for Olave. So moving up 2-3 spots at the bottom of the first round was an impossible task for this front office right?

Like with Daboll and NYG, McDaniels, and MIA, it's clear Harbaugh had a specific team in mind. That team wasn't us.

I agree with you that Reich is better. It's ridiculous the Colts fired him. And he's available right now. The Saints should jump all over this opportunity, but they won't.
I would still take either Pederson or Reich over Allen.
