Yup.

He plays soft, is incredibly stupid and was late for some meetings.

Do not want.

Sure. We're an injury away from being pretty thin and we are still entry damn good at developing physical freaks.

I wanted us to draft him, but he sure has disappointed. I say give him a shot during traing camp, it can't hurt.

I'm liking our group of receivers. Thomas, Snead and Ginn are all locks to make the team. Coleman has improved from year to year, and he is more than likely your number 4 WR, or not. Then it's a toss up between who emerges out of training camp for the 5 spot. Fuller, Lampman, Lewis, Dural, and maybe even Justin Thomas (hoping we can sneak him to the practice squad).

These should we threads are such a dick tease. Have we actually pulled the trigger on any? I can only think of AP.

He's lazy and has a terrible attitude, plus he hasn't proven anything in the league to make me want the Saints to sign him. I say not only no, but frick no.

rotoworld summed him up nicely...

A player who has an abundance of physical tools has been extremely inconsistent, largely struggling with drops to go with work ethic concerns.

There have been many WRs to fail under HOF Qbs. Thats not an automatic path to success. If he is as lazy as been said then it wont matter

He is not better than Coleman. And i have no idea some of think his ceiling is higher. I mean, he has all of the physical tools, was a 2nd round pick and had every chance to be a top WR in Philly. Coleman was undrafted, spent a year on the Practice Squad and clearly worked his way into potential top 4 WR on the team. DGB will not beat out Dural to make this roster much less Coleman.

Have there been any average WRs to flourish under HOF QBs?

Have we seen that over and over here?

This guy has size and talent that can't be taught. It's no guarantee that he'd be a fit and succeed. However, as it stands now, I'm confident that he's at least as good as Coleman with a lot more upside.

There is zero risk and high reward. If he gets beat out by Coleman because he just doesn't give a shite, what does it hurt?

I know this doesn't mean that much but PFF rated Coleman as the no.75 WR and DGB as no.102. That's probably because DGB has some serious drop issues.

I was on bored with it but didnt realize he had poor worth ethic. Brees is not going to tolerate that if i recall wasent stills work ethic called into question?

Sure it doesnt hurt but if he is lazy then why bother.

That's laughable, IMO.

Certainly, Coleman will have the advantage of being in this system for a while. But, physically, DGB is a cut above. The image below is of a 6'6" guy. Brees would have a field day.

Size. Yep. Talent, debatable. He has had every chance to prove himself. The book on him is written. Its not like injuries robbed him of a career. He is lazy and unintelligent. He will not be a good fit here.

There is zero proof to this.

Oh shite...he can jump high.

My bad. Sign him!

Hell, he's taller, faster, and can jump higher than Mike Thomas.....WTF are the Saints thinking.
