He's probably on his last opportunity at this point. Sure why, not?

Good point with the Coleman reference. You're not gonna get anything out of him on special teams, so can really only choose 1. May the best man win

Sure. We're an injury away from being pretty thin and we are still entry damn good at developing physical freaks.

Probably better than Coleman, similar size.

What I don't understand is what happened to him. Also looks like he did not do well in this years OTA's with the Eagles.

Not exactly sure what happened in otas. But I knew they got jefferys, but didn't know they got Torrey smith also. I think he would be a huge upgrade over Coleman. Seems like his route running is better, cant comment on his hands. But if his drops are down then it's a no-brainer we should give him a shot. I think he would be awesome in the slot as what we had Colson in.

The signings of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, along with drafting Mack Hollins and Shelton Gibson, and the incumbent Jordan Matthews and Nelson Agholor, had effectively ended the tenure of Green-Beckham. Today that became a reality.

Yeah I know the stats are close but DGB was a highly recruited out of HS but his college stats were just OK too.

DGB has also had 141 targets to Colemans 87 in 2 years. So there is that

I would like to see him in here for camp just for the competition. I was one when we first got Coleman saying he Will be the next Colston. And it seems we kept saying He just needs 1 more year. But it's coming to a point where he's becoming a nick toon, and Adrian Arrington

I dont disagree with that at all. But the comparison is slightly unfair given that DGB was expected to be the guy in TEN and a significant piece in Philly. If Coleman had at least close to those targets id think you'd see slightly better numbers to be honest.

Either way is worth a look. I wanted him out of the draft and i hope he can catch on.

I agree. Sign him. He has a much higher ceiling than Coleman.

I agree with everything you said except that. He had plenty of chances to Crack the top 3 WRs, but failed the last couple of season.

Although they are less, Coleman's targets are coming from a Hall of Fame QB. Coleman should be competing for his roster spot.

Fair point...but DBG has had his chances and his numbers are only slightly better with much more touches. Either way i really dont see all that much difference other than i think DGB has more potential
