McCord will probably still end up better than Shedeur
. I didn’t have an issue with Shough before the draft once I started hearing his name. Didn’t have any issue with Shough being drafted here. I wasn’t one of the idiots on here melting over taking a QB at 40. I liked Dart a lot before (and during) the draft, and I still think he would be good. I think he and Shough could be very good for a long time.

Easy now. I was one of those idiots but have had a whole Golden Corral buffet of crow. I won’t lie I hated the pick at the time with the fire of a thousand suns. But as a true Saints fan I would much rather be wrong and things go good for the saints than to have my big gotcha moment on a message board.

No, not necessarily. He has a great get off and so much power. It matters more for pass rush.

That’s the same thing that I have said about Jaylin Polk. He was a second round pick 2 years ago and the Pats traded him to us for a bag of balls. So naturally I don’t have high expectations for him. Between the fact that they gave up on him so quickly and he has trouble separating…….it’s not a high likelihood that he’ll be a big difference maker.
But like you, I will be HAPPY to be absolutely dead wrong on it lol.

Yeah I don’t have high hopes for him either but wish him the best. Ppl against going wr in the first round are baffling to me. We could go a number of ways that make sense but wr is as big of a need as anything on this team. We have been blessed to seemingly found our answer at qb but everyone just seems totally cool trotting him out there with a bunch of jiffy lube employees for wide receiver. I mean Vele and Polk ? Ru fckng kidding me. And Olave has NEVER been an alpha wr 1 but has just been by far the best thing on this roster for a while. Tate , Lemon , or Tyson at 8 makes a ton of sense to me.

Funny but a lot of scouts think he has great bend.
Kinda like the resident geniuses on here that laughed when I said he wasn’t explosive enough months ago before scouting reports came out. And sure enough he refused to do any measured drills for the draft….
