Meh, if they really wanted to kick me square in the stomach they'd play the San Fran game from 2011.

Yeah, probably the worst loss in history. That should have been SB victory # 2.

this

didn't really have high hopes for the team that lost to Seattle . That 11 team though....man. Loss also came on the heels of the LSU-Bama NCG, ugh

The Lynch run still feels like it shook the TV.

Definitely needed a rb that year...

Showed how insanely injury prone 2 guys were and I think the idea was for it to be an Ingram-Thomas 1-2 punch.

Then bush went bye bye and we somehow landed sproles and it was a 3 head again.

San Fran loss is the worst kind of sports loss there is, where your team comes back in a back-and-forth game, apparently on the cusp of victory, only to have it cruelly ripped away at the last second. At least in the LSU game they were never even competitive, so by halftime you were sort of numb.

I'd say Atlanta losing in that fashion was 100x worse.

had a bad feeling going into that game knowing how fortunate we were to have come away with the first win and our offense has trending in the wrong direction. I was at that game and by the JJ toss-interception all you could do was laugh

Not really on the same level but I was flipping channels last night and NFL Network had a replay of NFL Redzone on. I turned to the channel at the exact moment Denver blocked our extra point and returned it for the win. Ruined my night

The worst 5 days of my sports fan existence, and the first time I've ever thought, "man, what would my life be like if I never started watching this shite?"

That was one of the worst 2 weeks of my life. First 21-0, then the San Fran playoff loss, then a very good friend was killed by a drunk driver the next weekend.

2012 got off to a terrible start for me

San Fran game so much worse - I'd have had 84 tickets to an NFC Championship between Eli Manning and the Giants at our beloved Saints.

Probably $50K I lost there as well as the $10K or so I had on the Saints at San Fran

I was at that game. Rode 4 hours with a Seattle fan from Spokane to the game. Worst day of my life. That was the day I learned to hate the Seahawks.

I don't care what anyone says, that wasn't our year. If we managed to get by Seattle we were going much further.

I forgot Bountygate was the following Summer

2013 was the last gleam of hope for Santa fans..

I hope to God we can build a defense over the next 3 seasons

If this is true (which I doubt) you should've hedged the saints every game
