Happened to grab it in a pic I sent to a friend, his name is in the top left but the backlight is off so it’s hard to see. At least someone finally noticed and they tried to make it less obvious

As a lifetime season ticket holder who has seen every Dome upgrade there ever was, the new upgrades are awful. They robbed these ppl of their seats for bs, the stairs are awful, the no cash has made concession lines awful, the scoreboards suck, the graphics on the scoreboards look like a kid from the 1980s designed them, you can't tell what down and distance it is, the blaring rap is awful, it's a total disaster ImO and on top of that they misspelled Morten Andersen's name on the ring of honor as Morton Andersen. Ive missed about 5 home games since the mid 80s and that was the worst overall experience i've ever had. Running out of beer and food in the 2nd quarter. It's a juvenile operation and an embarrassment.
Agree with everything you said. The stairs are awful and running out of beer after the first half is unacceptable.

New video board is GOAT.

They said the stairs will be temporary for this year since the ramps will be renovated this coming offseason. Idk where they had a beer shortage, but in the end zone clubs we were able to get beer in the 4th quarter and OT. I’m sorry to people that don’t like rap music, but it’s the type of music that gets the fans and players even more hyped. Finally, mostly every stadium is going cashless, and they kept sending emails about it so that’s you should’ve been prepared.

On exit I did the ramps like... well forever. Did notice all the sneaky cigarette butts on em
so never saw the stairwell situation.
That line, or lines at every gate, to get in though was pretty warm/hot in the black clothing. Not sure if user error, since it's been 2 years, or the workers who just don't care at all but they moved slow as a snail.
For those who are worried about the 2nd home game the mask situation was just a farce. Bathroom, concessions, not needed at all other than initial entry. Vaccine proof as well. I came in off Poydras after a pre-game sesh and if you legitimately showed any barcode on your phone you were good to go.

I like rap music, i'm not 70, there is a difference between playing rap and going overboard and loud to the point of misery. My point on cashless is 1)it removed all the beer guys with the tubs roaming the halls that are mobile satellite bars that took the load off the main beer bars. If you are going to remove several dozen mobile satellite bars you have to then add more beer bars, that has nothing to do with cash and everything to do with common sense. You also can't have octagenerians bartending who are slow as pigshit to begin with now trying to figure out how to run a clover POS system. I understand the benefits to all cash it knocks out the need to bring in cash and count and take out cash. It reduces theft drastically, it makes tracking and inventory much easier, etc. But you also have to understand the negatives to it as well in order to plan for them ie no beer guys means increased traffic in hallways, longer lines at beer booths, more booths needed, more employees needed at booths, more storage capacity at booths, more runners bringing beer to the booths, more technologically efficient employees and the ability to accept cash when individual systems go down or stall. That's all shite that any bar owner in the area knows yet a major concession company making millions does not. Everything i saw in there yesterday all the way up to Morton Andersen and the scoreboard graphics was careless, poorly conceived, and poorly executed. I sit in the 500 level and have since 1988 and i go to at least 1 road game a year. I reiterate it was the worst NfL Stadium Experience I've ever had and there isn't a close 2nd.

Maybe they don’t have enough stands because of the labor shortage going on nationwide.

Thank god. That was a clusterfrick getting out yesterday.

Yeah our section had beer/liquor the whole game but the lines were long as frick. I went down with 5 minutes left in the 3rd to get two beers for the 4th quarter and said nope frick those lines

Yeah I hate rap with a passion but that's not going to change in the Dome lol

This. Jacksonville and Gillette were both cashless so far this year.

New upgrades very underwhelming

Cashless thing is nfl league wide. Last week same thing in foxboro yet in Fenway beer/food vendors walking everywhere. It’s an nfl “Covid” thing I believe as retarded as that sounds
Posted on 10/4/21 at 12:27 pm to Whodatforlife21
The 'cashless' trend is nation wide. What's very unclear is exactly WHO benefits from this ? It's clearly NOT the customer/customer i.e. the added 'wait times/delays' caused by malfunctioning hand held and fixed terminals, entering personal pin #'s { is my pin # going directly to the chairman in Wuhan ?}, fumbling with credit cards...tip amount etc. ! Someone is benefitting from this clusterF&^% and it's NOT the buyer/consumer !!!

I never carry cash and tap to pay works in like 2 seconds. I dunno never an issue for me
Posted on 10/4/21 at 1:18 pm to Vinny V
Louisiana isn't exactly cutting edge technologically so cashless is gonna be an issue for a while.

I don’t know about you but I use tap to pay everywhere. Even the shittiest gas stations have it on their credit card terminals. I’d wager most of the people complaining in here are old or still like to write checks lol

My personal experience includes:
Atlanta (GA Dome & MB)
Tampa
Charlotte
Nashville
Foxboro
Pittsburgh
Baltimore
Washington DC
Candlestick
Santa Clara
San Diego
Houston
Dallas
Kansas City
And then there's our "home" crowd.
Even in the Plaza some of my neighbors are not folks you would want in your home....
I'm at year 16 in the same seats and the neighborhood has certainly gotten worse.

I'm 39. I understand why they are going cashless. Tracking, not having to armor truck cash in and out, not having to fill registers, not having to count registers, preventing theft and slippage. All i'm saying is either bring back the beer guys and give them mobile chip readers or add more beer stands and more people serving beer.
Posted on 10/4/21 at 3:11 pm to CarrolltonTiger
Halftime was unacceptable. There is not a men's room in the plaza on the Saints side between the end zone and the opposite 20-or-so yard line. It took forever to get there because the concession lines were out to the walkway, people stop and have frickING conversations in the walkway and one family decided to stop in the middle of the fricking walkway at halftime and take a family pic. I got to the bathroom and the line was 50 people long out the door.
Did I miss a bathroom somewhere? I passed about 5 women's rooms.
