Think Drew is the kind of guy that lets Tre’Quan keep his first TD ball considering the circumstances?

The ball is in the PFHOF for eternity.

I’m guessing you missed the whole ordeal with the hall of fame president with white gloves on taking the ball

Always thought the ball thing was funny. Theroretically, shouldn’t the next ball he throws be in the HOF. That one breaks the record.

Or shouldn’t the last ball he throws go to the hall? Technically that would be the record setting throw.

He saw that. He thought it was Drew Brees' butler.

nope, you are dumb, that ball was the record breaking ball and pass.

the next touchdown only means he joins the "club" of 500 or more career TD passes thrown

What would have happened had he thrown it in to the stands?

Couldn’t see the PFHOF game from my poor-arse terrace seats.

HOF keeps the ball...Drew keeps the certificate they printed on the inkjet in the lower concourse gift shop 5 minutes before the record was broken, Smith get's nothing

Disagree. He will be in a highlight reel every time they show the big moments in Brees career. They showed Devery catching the Unitas record breaking TD a whole lot yesterday.

Sounds like Smith wins this one. He doesn't have to deal with throwing anything away.

Or until it's broken by someone else, right?

That looked like it was going to go on the fridge right next to Baylen's macaroni art

Just because a record is broken, doesn’t mean that they give back the item.
