These things are so bad

At this point make it a flag football game or a 7 on 7

It’s not for fans. Bubble guys need to be judged in game situations. And backups and rookies need reps. And starters need a series or two before the first real game.

Nothing but another ripoff by the NFL.

You’ll get plenty of regular season games. I don’t mind watching some of the young players seeing what they can do. If you don’t enjoy it, watch something else.

well we added a reg season game from 16 to 17.

we cut pre season from 4 to 3

maybe cut it to 2?

play starters for a quarter in game 2?

The teams learn way more from the intersquad scrimmages than they do from these games.

Just have each team join practice with the 4 oppossite divisional teams...

Saints practice with Texans, Jags, Titans, and Colts

Broncos practice with Cardinals, 9ers, Seahawks, Rams

etc

But have preseason games be at neutral sites at college stadiums or something.

Saints vs Jags could be in Mobile

Saints vs Titans could be in Memphis

I can't believe people actually go to these games and pay money to watch them that's the funny part

How about not tipping off season ticket holders?
Paying for this garbage is a pathetic joke.

I went from having the best record in my fantasy league in ‘24 to bottom 5 in ‘25. The NFL is doing this for me. I need to knock scouting out of the park this year or there’s talks of relocating The Red Chute Dismantlers.

That's what I would say. Go to the 18 game regular season schedule, go down to 2 preseason games. Two preseason games is enough. First preseason game where the starters play for a half and then the backups get game reps. Second preseason game where the backups get more reps for the first quarter and then the remaining three quarters are just for evaluation for players trying to make the team.

1 home and 1 away preseason game. Do not include the preseason game in season tickets. Just sell general admission for like $10/seat.

In the 1960s-1970s, the NFL has six preseason games. It was too much.

Nah, it is simply a money grab by the NFL. Useless games where the majority of the players will not make a roster.

Then don't charge fans the same as regular season games. Make them free or very low cost. Teams still make money on parking and concessions.

Just because the Saints suck at football doesn’t mean the preseason games are bad for everyone

If you want season tickets, you’re going to be buying preseason tickets.
