The franchise gets 150 rings from the NFL I believe. That should be more than enough to cover everyone who was on the team at some point during this season.

Yes, he does get a ring. What would have been funny is he was tried out by the Colts the week before the SB. If he'd signed, He'd have gotten a winners' and losers' ring as well as money for both sides.

True. But don't forget that includes coaches, staff, and a whole bunch of other people who do office type shite that we never hear of. I'd be willing to bet that number of rings goes quick but either way I do believe MM and Duece will be getting one.

losers' ring

Is there a losers' ring? I can't see those hyper-competitive guys wearing one of those.

I googled and found that there is in fact a Losers' ring. Both teams get jewelry with the losing teams costing one-half the winners' jewelry.

It is 150 rings.

To me, Doug Thornton should get a ring much sooner than a lot of other people mentioned.

Are you sure the losing team gets a ring?

I thought it was just some cash - around $25,000 or so to each player.

McKenzie would not have received both rings. If he would have been on the Colts active roster for the Super Bowl he would only be guaranteed the losers' ring. The Saints could give one to him, in that scenario, but I doubt they would. Since he wasn't offered a contract by the Colts or turned them down he kept his winners' ring hopes alive. The Saints get 150 rings @ $5000 each (paid by the NFL) if they choose to spend more and/or get more rings, the Saints pick-up that tab. How the Saints distribute the rings is completely up-to-them. Look for them to give out a boatload of rings, well over 150.

MM intercepted Tom Brady in a huge rout of the Patriots on Monday night football (the game that people started realizing without a doubt we were for real).

He gets a ring.

If the team votes to give Deuce a ring I'm ok with that, but the organization shouldn't make that decision

If they put this to a vote, how many no votes would there be? I'm gonna bet on zero.

If there is someone who deserves a ring but hasn't been mentioned yet, it's Fred fricking Mcafee.

But he is in the front office so he may get one anyway
