Do the missed games keep him active another year to expand his career stats? I’m sure the team quality doesn’t hurt either.

Depends on how well he can throw when he comes back and how the season ends

Well yeah, I’m using the assumption he can still play at his career level.

I didn’t think so before, but I can see him going another year now.

I’ve always thought he’d come back one more year if we don’t win the SB

I think if he comes back as effective as he’s been the past few years and we don’t end up winning the Superbowl this year he will come back for one more shot. This team is just too good all around for him to hang it up on a loss.

He doesn’t care about stats or records. He wants one more ring. If he gets that this year, he’s done. What else is there to prove for Drew Brees?

I think even if he wins the SB he’ll come back for one more year to be honest

He could play 2 or 3 more years if he plays 8 regular season games and Bridgewater plays 8.

Brees is ultra competitive. He will try to outplay Brady and finish with all the records.

Well, I'll say it this way- no way Brees wants to go out this year after an injury. So if he was considering it, I think that's gone now.

Have you seen or heard him talk about his rehab? He’s as hungry as an UDFA striving to make a roster based on special teams play. He will be back for one more year at a minimum. Not to mention that Brees at even 75% is better than all but 3-4 other QBs in the league.
