What’s the question? The NOLA no call and the 2011, Jan 2012 if you prefer were both epic gut punch loses.

When he was in New Orleans, he was always good at calling a stupid play call, like a double reserve or something and loose yards, instead of calling normal plays. Got too cute at times. Sean and Drew were and pretty good tandem. Bill and Tom were a great tandem.

This board is filled with more idiots than a welfare office. Bill B is well on his way of 4 seasons that are gonna look something like this. 7-9,10-7,8-9, and his currently 1-4 and may have a 5 win season. I’d still say he’s the best coach the nfl has ever seen.

He actually went 7-9 a total of 5 times (2007,2012).

Regardless of your roster I don’t think an elite NFL coach does that.

I think several on this very board gave him a pass and never spoke of him in a negative light when he was in New Orleans.

I’ve been saying this for years

And always was totally ridiculed and cursed at for saying it.

Also

The HC is responsible for the bad rosters

Worst defenses

And worst special teams in NFL history

And he’s a total douche bag

The Saints took more key draft picks from themselves by drafting weird players than the league took draft picks from the team.

He’s an elite offensive head coach. He only took that job cause they dropped the bag and he knows he’s gonna blow that shite up.

Saints had one of the 3 or 4 best records in the NFL during the Payton era. The guy should have 2 SB rings with the Saints, and with a little luck probably coulda had 3.

Take a look in the mirror when you call others idiots

Also

Patriot fans a booing and will be calling for Belichek to be fired soon if he doesn’t start winning again

Fans like you would continue to kiss paytons arse if he never won again in New Orleans

He quit because he knew he couldn’t win here without Drew

He was close to elite, definitely elite offensively.

His problem was DEFENSE, he could never find the right Defensive Coordinator.
