Do we go QB in the draft or do we go free agent QB?

So no way we get high enough to draft a great QB from this year's draft, which is already lackluster, but, do we go QB with whatever is the best available? Or do we piss away that pick and play this season hoping to get a top 5 pick for next year?

I don't want to settle for whatever is hanging around after the top QBs are taken off of the board, but what else can we do?

There has to be a reason besides being crappy at it, that Loomis only got 2 picks for Payton. Does he have his eye on a QB like Carr or Garapolo?

Both. Cover all bases.

Apparently carr will be cut. I'd definitely be on him unless the money gets crazy.

I agree. But I just don't see him settling for a low pay-day. Of course, why not come to a team stacked on offense like we are, and playing indoors most of the year? He's a better option than Rodgers or Brady mainly due to age.

Sign Rodgers for 2 years and draft Hooker.

Carr would also be my first choice, but cost will be the deciding factor. He’d have to be paid around that 20 mark but I think he will get more.

I’d also look at Jimmy G. His win percentage is better than Joe Montana. He’s just so injury prone.

Carr needs the perfect fit OC and Mr. Introvert over here is the wrong OC for him. He'd be a terrible signing and continue out cap problems because I doubt he comes cheap on a short Saints friendly deal.

Go with Dalton and Taysom Hill. Try to go 0-17, get the no1 puck and start from there. Saints need to bite the cal bullet now!!!!

We're pretty set at QB with Dalton.

He's a gamechanger.

I think we try to throw everything at Carr. Outside of Stroud and Young, I wouldn’t touch any of these other QBs with a ten foot pole. Both Richardson and Hooker have major issues reading defenses and the short and intermediate accuracy.

We’re not going 0-17 with Taysom/Dalton
