I just don't want to see Drew's last year's be a shite show. But I'm not sure if Payton leaving is the best thing or not. I would like to see him turn over the play calling duties if anything.

This isn't the first or second game he's done this.
Ingram has a great drive or a great run and Payton benches him. It's insane. Ingram has proven constantly he he's premier back, he can shoulder a heavy workload, and he puts his all into every play. And we hand the ball off to Tim fricking Hightower?

I'm 52 and have been a Saints fan since I was old enough to understand football. Payton did bring the Saints to the Super Bowl and won it. But that show is over. Bad decisions, drafts, trades, poor choices in assistants etc and his 1 year ban...he isn't the same coach.
I think he leaves on his own. There has been too much talk of it and he doesn't deny the possibility so its time to start looking at new head coaches.

i'd help that bitch pack his bags... feels like we are back to the giving up 336 receiving yds. to Willie Anderson and the Rams type of teams...
FWIW, i think he leaves on his own accord... to the team that has the biggest medicine cabinet

I think if the Colts offer, hes gone.

I don't necessarily want him gone. If he can turn things around then I'm happy with that. If not, then best wishes. Nothing personal against the guy.

CSP should stick around and have the chance to build the roster and improve the team. I believe he can learn from his roster mistakes and improve.

It depends. If he calls the same plays and hiring his buddies then yes. If he can get that fire that he had when he first arrived and get a defensive coordinator that can bring our defense to somewhat respectable level then no.

Absolutely not, but Loomis and Ryan need to go. We cannot continue to have these horrendous drafts where we're getting 1 starter (if that) and while the 2015 class seems strong, the money we've blown on numerous contracts are the nail in the coffin.
Ryan goes without saying as he may be the worst coordinator in the league.
On offense, we have got to solidify the OL and fix both G positions. After that, we've got to get him help at WR, a true #1.
On defense, where to even begin. First off, decide on 3-4 or 4-3, stop this hybrid shite because I feel like it just confuses a lot of players who spent a good portion of their lives at one or the other before coming here. Next, trade off as many pieces as we can for picks and unloading money. No more "project" picks or guys who are a year or two away from being where they need to be. Next, we've got to get some linebackers who can cover a goddamn tight end, because I am sick and tired of watching tight ends burn us.

Absolutely. Whenever I see Slob Ryan standing on the sidelines, all I can think of is - who ever is responsible for that guy being on the staff needs to be fired. That guy is CSP.

Not yet. If we get a defense rank in the top half of the league we could have a winning record. Our offense is still one of the best even lacking a playmaker.

Benson is in la la land and has been for quite awhile so their is absolutely no ownership leadership right now.

Yeah, sounds like Payton, the head coach, has nothing to do with these decisions....

We finally have a young D with alot of potential and your solution isn't to draft and aquire depth, but to trade them all away?

We're in the top 10 for most yards, passing and rushing, and most points.
Brees is also in the Top 5 for most INTs, the team is in the top 5 for most fumbles and worst turnover ratio. The offense is in the top 3 in most penalties and most penalty yards.
And many of those turnovers come at very inopportune moments and this penalties kill drives.
There's no denying that there is something wrong with this team. And it's obvious that coaching is a major problem.
We have too many penalties, players looking confused, special teams not getting set, etc...
That shite starts at the top.

We need a new Offensive coordinator.
Whoever the frick is calling the plays on this retarded team needs to stop calling the plays
Agree

After that we need to clean house on defense, starting with the position and assistant coaches. This shite with Browner, and the inability to cover a tight end, and the very real issue of never developing talent has to be addressed.
Agree, but heres the problems. We've switched coordinators with little success. Its time to switch position coaches. A lot of those guys are Paytons buddies, like Joe Vitt. I like Joe, but hes not getting it done.
And we are righteously fricked with personnel. How can we clean house with our cap situation? I hate to say it, but we almost need to take the hits and tank next year just to clear cap space from these terrible contracts. I'd rather see a bunch of UDFA's busting arse next year than a bunch of overpaid assholes coasting thru cashing paychecks.

After that, we need a new strength and conditioning Coach and a new training staff. We can't keep players healthy to save our lives.
This is a problem all over the NFL. Funny how the players wanted easier training camps and now can't stay healthy to save their lives.
