I thought with Teddy, we would have at least tried the Ted Ginn / max protect shot play. He has a huge arm, but it didn't look like he threw anything further than 15 yards all game.

I imagine it raining most of the game and Seahawks having good safeties prevented that. That’s my guess

No, he has good accuracy and intelligence as a QB but arm strength isn’t his thing. He threw some high passes yesterday but like I said, rain didn’t help.

The fact it was raining the whole game might have had something to do with it.

I thought with a week of gameplanning, vs. unexpectedly coming in cold due to injury, the Saints would take a few more shot to try to really stretch the field. That didn't happen. Now, it could have been Seattle took those plays away. It could have been that Bridgewater didn't see them. Or, it could have been the fact there was a steady rain all game.

Nonetheless, I'm willing to say lets see what happens next weekend vs. Dallas. The first start jitters shouldn't be there anymore and the "weather" will be perfect. Also, you have to think Dallas is going to try to come up and stop the intermediate stuff to Kamara, daring Bridgewater to take a shot or two.

Yeah weather was a factor. Probably affected everyone’s speed getting downfield too. How many times did RBs slip and fall? A lot.

It was that weird type of rain that you can't really see how hard it is on TV, until you see the closeups and slow motion replays. From the normal TV camera angles, it didn't look like it was raining at all, but then you'd see a closeup or an alternate angle and realize both teams were getting drenched out there. That probably took away the deep balls from the game plan.
