Deshaun Watson ruptured his achilles and the Browns went DTR over Jameis

A little surprising I figured he would have surly been the vet they went to with their starter down for the rest of the year. I guess they know their season is done anyway so why not see what DTR has over the next few months.

Winston is the emergency QB for the game. They had to go with DTR.

Yea but I think they plan on starting DTR. He played well in the preseason and he brings a running element to their offense. Apparently the coaches are high on him.

Makes you feel a lot better about Carr that’s for sure. Watson went from all-pro to scrub awfully fast.

I thought the Saints would beat Cleveland. But now they have a young running QB playing against us. I might pick up DTR in fantasy that week.

To this day I can't conceive of what rational the front office used to justify blowing that much cash for Watson.
