that ball is 2 feet higher and its a completion.

For one, Brees wasn't capable of throwing the ball 2 feet higher at that distance at that point in his career. Secondly, that's not even the correct ball placement on a deep post. Even in this still shot, the ball is behind Ginn & it's still incomplete if it is 2 feet higher because the deep post route has Ginn's momentum going away from where Drew threw the ball. You sound like a complete retard saying Ginn should have fought back for the ball. Only way to run a deep post effectively is at full speed. No way Ginn's momentum was going to allow him to stop on a dime & make a play on that underthrown ball.

The ball needed meet Ginn out front around the Vikings 40 where he could run through the ball at the point of the catch.

I don't understand what quite is your point with all the drew harassment.

Your first post in this thread hinted at the outcome of this game fell at the feet of Dennis Allen, yet if the Saints got 6 here, the outcome of that game is totally different.

It was underthrown. Both things can be true.

It was a great play by the defender to intercept an underthrown ball.

This. Same concept on this play a year later. Underthrown ball, great catch by the defender.

not sure what i'm supposed to be admitting. Drew had a great fricking season in 2017 in which is the year you are fricking bleeding your vagina over a 2 ft underthrown ball in which ted ginn gives no help and the DB makes a fricking hell of a backward leaping catch. A game in which Drew Brees led the should have been final game winning drive in which the defense fricked it up.

it wasn't as underthrown as what you're pretending. That dude caught that flying back and leaping. It was hitting devery in stride had that fallen through.

If thats what you see you have indeed gone blind.

Not sure how that is on Allen. We had players in position.

The defensive alignment gave way too much cushion along the sidelines allowing the necessary room for a completion & to get out of bounds for a field goal attempt.

That was actually a nice throw(arm strength) for brees considering he couldn't step into it.

That throw was sick. It's what makes rodgers.

Great observation. It’s early but all indicators say this team will be really good. But we shall see.

Brees didn't have the arm strength to do that evidently. I think you're kinda proving his point.

I still for the life of me don’t know why we didn’t hold every receiver at the line of scrimmage. Would have taken precious time off the clock by the time the qb realizes it and throws it away. It’s only a 5 yard penalty the first time. 15 yarder the second time. Do that twice and their only shot would have been a Hail Mary at the end. Can play for that instead of worrying about the fg.

Horrible coaching job at the end.
