Should Detroit decide not to sign or place the franchise tag on him then the Saints should pursue him and maybe offer a 2-year deal..... would be great on the other side of Jordan.

Ziggy is likely to be tagged too. I don't think they have anyone else worth tagging (not 100% on that though), and even if it's just to try to trade him that's what'll likely happen.

I remember Ansah being a hot name for the Saints to consider the year he came out in the draft.

frick yes we should. He was my guy when everyone was gaga over mingo. This is where a smart team would spend money over an expensive slot wr. He’ll be 29 this summer. Should have at least 3-4 really good years left as I don’t think he has a ton of football wear and tear on him. Also think whatever physical freakishness he may lose will be offset a bit by him still improving as a player.

he would be a great addition. One thing that will be interesting especially when it comes to free agency for him is his "age". There is a lot of smoke that he might be a good bit older then the said 29.
