Should we?
Could be a nice insurance policy for Okafor.

I don't think think you can ever have enough pass rushers
In before one year price it deal

One year prove it deal as a camp body

About to be 30 with only 22 career sacks? Nah. This was his first year starting and he only put up 3, and it's skewed by one year with 9.
Unless we are talking $2 mil or less then nope.

Perhaps at this point in his career, he is looking for a team that he can temporarily play for and really show the NFL what he is all about

isn't that what Hendrickson, Muhammed, Kikaha, G. Johnson, and Edebali are for and I'm sure they'd be half the cost and just as effective.

I would personally like him in case Okafor isn’t ready and Hendrickson gets hurt. You can never have too much depth

I get he just was on a Super Bowl , but is he ready to motherfricking prove “it?”

"Curry's pass-rushing productivity was one of the best in the NFL last season, as PFF had him as the 12th-best pass rusher overall in terms of production per pass-rushing snap. Graham came in at 10th and his average production per snap when he was sent after the quarterback was essentially even with Curry.
Curry's struggles against the run kept him off the field early in his career, but Curry was a major reason the Eagles were one of the best run defenses in the NFL last season. According to PFF, Curry was the third-best defensive end in the NFL last season against the run."

Philly route: a bunch of guys who can actually pass rush and play the run OK. Let's let them go all out and rotate them out for fresh legs.
It was insane to watch, if it's cheap you'd be dumb to decline.

Not strictly a pass rusher. Plays the run well too. Graded out as PFF's 21st edge defender with a 84.8 grade. 47 pressures

That stat "pressures" is probably the most underrated in football, it causes Turnovers, A Defense that forces TOs won us a Super Bowl, after seeing all those stats I'd take him in a heartbeat for the right $

rotoworld take-
The move was time-sensitive as $5 million of Curry's $9 million base salary would have been guaranteed on Sunday. The Eagles tried convincing Curry to accept a pay cut but the two sides could never reach a compromise. Curry probably saw the writing on the wall after Philadelphia acquired Michael Bennett from Seattle earlier this month. The 29-year-old dominated last year, earning PFF's No. 10 grade among 4-3 defensive ends. He should attract widespread interest on the open market.

The Eagles decided that $9 million in 2018 would be too much for defensive end Vinny Curry. The Buccaneers quickly gobbled him up.
Curry has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the Buccaneers, according to Jenna Laine of ESPN.com. Curry reportedly will make up to $27 million (key words “up to”), with $11.5 million guaranteed for injury.
A source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that $6.5 million is fully guaranteed at signing.
A second-round pick out of Marshall in 2012, Curry didn’t start a game from 2012 through 2016, and he started every game in 2017 — including all three postseason games. But the Eagles couldn’t justify keeping him for cap reasons.”

That is very expensive for a guy that has 9 sacks over the last 3 years.
