#Saints  pass-rusher Marcus Davenport suffered a pec strain, source said. He’ll miss some time, but should be back sooner rather than later. Considering how he has come on, this is very good news for the New Orleans D.

Good news boys.

That is great great news. I'm assuming the tentative time frame would be about a month?

Just depends on severity of the strain. Could be a couple weeks if only a grade I.

Well it’s a pectoral muscle so pect is perfectly appropriate.

Great news... but he's made of glass, so it'll be something else after that. Not normally a pessimist but I dont see Davenport suddenly becoming durable after 4 years.

Great news. I’m worried about McCoy though, I didn’t like the way he was walking. Wasn’t getting any plantar flexion

Bring him back for Russ, then give him 2 weeks for the injury from that game

Hoping to have him back by at least the midpoint of the season. We can survive until then as long as the rest of the D stays healthy.

Hopefully Turner can be somewhat effective.

Didn't Armstead of the same type of injury a couple years back and it basically sidelined him the entire year?

Get Davenport and Onyemata back at the same time would be nice.

No it isn’t. You say pectoral or you say pec. E.g. pec deck machine

Not even sure that will help. Dude got hurt in WEEK ONE.

I really like Davenport when he’s on the field, but holy shite he can’t stay on the field…
