Cleveland - needs a QB

But seriously, I think you need to throw in Wash & Miami into the mix of teams we will most likely pass up in the standings. And Ari will put up a fight with their schedule. I can see this team accidently drafting around 10th, and this does not include the jokes about "we're about to go on a run for the division".

For perspective, the 10th overall pick last year went to a team with 5 wins (6 wins was 11th).

think Fano is slightly underrated in his rankings.

It’s depressing that we could still be poised to draft another OL in Rd1

Let’s get impact in Rd 1. Look later to beef up OL.if we add picks I have no issue taking 2-3 OL on day 2 or 3

Ioane at 28 (G PSU)
Tiernan at 38 (OT Northwestern)
Lomu at 41 (OT Utah)
Pregnon at 47 (G Oregon)
Carter Smith 50 (OT Indiana)

Which is 100% an indication of the state of the league. Last year there were 10 teams with 5 or fewer wins, it is very possible that the teams match that again this year

Mike Shila was fired as the offensive coordinator at South Carolina not long ago.

Makes you wonder if it was coaching?

Shula and they have nothing else on the offense except Nyck Harbor, who is basically a wr version of Treydez Green in that he's big and fast but doesn't really know how to play.

not nearly as depressing as watching our OL try to run block.

Trade down to #5-6 get another first or two

Pick up the best OL. Let that unit gel and get them going later.

Agree with all of this. Would love to get Ioane at the top of the 2nd but I know that's a pipe dream. He looks like a road grader guard and a good kid.

I think it’s still too early, but I like Reese as my top guy right now. Downs is up there as well. I like Fano too. Again, it’s a little early, but I’d be fine with any of those three.

Unless Tyson runs a 4.3 or something, I’m worried about his ability to separate and get open at the next level. Not that he can’t do it, I just think he might end up being more of a possession receiver.

I like Bain’s effort. I do want to see his measurables at the combine. Not saying he will be Verse, but I feel like we said a lot of the same things about Jared Verse who fell further than he should in the draft.

I’ll get downvoted into oblivion, but if we end up outside of the top 3 picks or trade down from top 3, I want Jeremiyah Love. This team desperately needs big time playmakers.

Reese
Downs
Tyson
Woods
Tate

Biggest needs? An actual OLB that can rush and cover. Granderson just isn’t that kind of player. He just isn’t athletic enough. 3-4 has two OLBs traditionally and 1 is typically just an edge, think like Aldon Smith. The other is supposed to be lighter, more athletic but still a bigger player and someone who can cover as well as rush. It’s why not a lot of teams use 3-4 because it takes a lot of different and sometimes unique types of players. So a guy like Reese is perfect.

Outside of that, in order…

1. OLB/Edge
2. WR
3. Guard
4. DL
5. ILB (Stutsman is unproven, Werner isn’t the future and Demario is getting older.)

Yeah I mean we need a lot of shite but I’d say a WR AND RB and TE. We need young talent at every level of offense.

Even if Shough pans out, I don’t think he’ll be a top 5 guy. But he could be right under that. It’s just that those guys need more help than the more elite QBs. Make life easier on your young QB
