So if Russell Wilson goes to the cowboys, does Dak come to us? I admit I have not been following almost anything lately for work reasons. I apologize if Germans.

I say if Winston wants to comeback for the right price, let's give him a shot.
We are in a transition year, no sense in giving up draft picks when we need those to fill positions the Saints are sure to lose in FA. Ex. Rush End, Safety, Corner, linebacker ???

If Wilson went to the Cowboys, I’d guess that the Seahawks would try to sign Dak, unless they are banking on a rookie or something.
That being said, I can’t see anyway that Seattle trades Wilson. He isn’t demanding a trade or anything and he’s a franchise QB.
Also, Winston will be our QB this year. We just need to accept it.

I love Dak and he would probably look great in CSP's offense.

If he's willing to take a similar format, Dak would be worth considering. Mahomes contract is basically a 3 year deal unless you need to spread the roster bonus:
Year - Salary - Bonus - Roster - Cap Hit - Dead
Year 1 - 825k - 4.5M - 0 - 5.3M - 66M
Year 2 - 990k - 2M - 21.7M - 24.8M - 60.3M
Year 3 - 1.5M - 2M - 27.4M - 31.5M - 35.5M
Year 4 - 5.5M - 2M - 34.4M - 42.5M - 4M
Year 5 - 2.5M - 2M - 34.9M - 40M - 2M
Year 6 - 2.5M - 0 - 38.9M - 42M - 0

Year 8 - 10M - 0 - 49.4M - 60M - 0
Year 9 - 13M - 0 - 30.9M - 44.5M -0

So, you would have a workable cap hit in Year 1, then it jumps in year 2 & 3. But, since thy are roster bonuses you can work the wording that spreads the money over 5 years. This would essentially make it a contract that can easily be cut after 3 years. And, if you spread the roster bonuses out that cap hit in year 2 can drop to 8M, year 3 would be $16M. It makes it harder to cut him down the road, but gives you cap space flexibility early.

First off Hendrickson is a free agent so you can’t but even if you could giving up Hill, Hendrickson, 2 first and 2 seconds is way too much for either Dak or Wilson. They need linemen so I would offer McCoy, 2 firsts and a 3rd for Wilson. That is more than fair. We get the franchise QB and they get a pro bowl caliber C plus 3 picks to rebuild with.

Are you saying that DAK isn't worth 40-50? If he were to come to New Orleans, the saints are in the super bowl almost guaranteed. Plus he's a Louisiana native.

Not all picks are created equal. If you're trading for a relatively young elite QB like Wilson, you're gonna give up a lot.
2 late 1sts, 2 late 2nds are not worth nearly as much as a top 10 1st for example.
Hill is next to useless if you get Wilson and Hendrickson financially won't be worth keeping compared to other teams who need a DLineman
