This is complete speculation. What makes you think Mickey is like Jerry fricking Jones and is gonna let him coach out the contract? Lol

I don't think DA is a great coach, but honestly there's not a coach alive that could turn this team into a playoff contender overnight. We have very little talent on this squad and no way of improving any time soon. Better to begin the rebuild now and hire a good candidate when the time is right.

You are of course aware that the only reason they didn't win the division was because their combo of 9 wins was not as fruitful as Tampa Bay's combo of 9 wins. The same Tampa Bay that the Saints dominated in week 17. The same Tampa Bay that won a playoff game.

Don't be surprised if this clown's tenure ends up mirroring the Oakland stint, two garbage arse seasons and then fired after a losing streak to start the third season.

Except his first two seasons in NO were the equivalent of .500 each year. Payton had multiple middling years sprinkled in with some really good years. Allen isn't bombing like some think he is.

Yea you’re right, we ALMOST won the worst division in the nfl. You are of course aware that we will never have this easy of a schedule again?

I think they keep him as long as the cap is in hell. And Mickey loves to kick the can down the road. So he will be here for the entire contract.

The team In case you missed it, with better coaching we easily win 3 more games this year. We beat or should have beat multiple teams that won playoff games.

Th is is what sums you up as a poster. You irrationally hate Carr and that's it.

Payton took the Saints to the NFC championship in year one and a superbowl win in year 4. That buys you the benefit of the doubt. Dennis Allen literally has never won anything as a head coach.

Never compare Allen with Payton.
