DA concerned that surgery didn’t help. Man I really hope we draft a OT.

Well that's an unfortunate turn of events. OT has to be top priority but lord I still hope they don't reach at 14 for pass on a better player and edge of and offensive weapon if available.

The OT group is pretty deep. Even if they reach a little they should still get a good quality starter at 14. I don’t think it should be anything like a “Penning” type of reach.

An OT? They may need to draft 3.

Dire situation at OL. This is where the lack of ability to be competitive for FAs really starts to catch up.

They’ll need to add a cheap vet, draft well, and Penning has to play.

All this after going all in on an average pocket pass statue 30+ QB.

You made the bed Loomis, lay in it.

Outside of Ram, we have not had the best luck drafting offensive lineman early.

Solidifies it, we are picking the best OT on the board at 14

I really hope McCarthy and Nix move into the top 12 and that is not just a smokescreen. We all assume Joe Alt and Dallas Turner will go in the top ten, so if all 5 of them go, plus the 3 WRs, you are left with:

OT Olumyiwa Fashanu
TE Brock Bowers
OT Taliese Fuaga
OT Troy Fautanu

If Ram isn't able to play, Bowers is probably not the pick, but you would be guaranteed to get one of the top 4 OTs, unless there is a run on them.

Now to add intrigue, I have been seeing Dallas Turner and Rome Odunze drop to us in a few mocks. Would be really hard to pass on either of them if they make it down to 14.

Its interesting we didn’t resign Armstead because of injury issues and now its looking like Ram’s career may be over. To top it off I don’t know what we’ll get out of Penning. Mccoy and Ruiz were ok but not the best of seasons. Peat is gone too. Wouldn’t surpise me if first 2 picks are easily olineman.

The fact that we have such huge needs on OL and DL while investing so heavily in both in terms of draft assets is insane.

Slide back a few picks if a LT is not there. Latham at RT would be the exception. I'm just surprised the Saints didn't have him under the knife until after the draft

Wouldn’t hate it if we moved up to grab Alt, would finally be a move that was worth it.

Honestly davenport, turner, foskey, penning are huge misses. Even Ruiz is nothing special. It’s basically set our oline/dline back especially since Loomis cap management hasnt let us sign anybody either. We basically let Armstead and Hendrickson just walk- two of our better picks.

Turner im ok with. I know Odunze is a stud but I would trade down for someone who really wanted him and fix our oline/dline issues. WR is not a dire need at this point.

Thinking it should not be long before we re-sign Peat. He has not seen any market out there, so he should not cost much.

Trading up for Alt probably costs us this year's 1st and next year's 1st. I am fine with that since I think Alt is that good.

And broadcasting it to the the entire NFL world is exactly par for the course for the group of morons running this franchise.

Why did anyone need to know this information about Ram?

This is like a few years ago when they traded up a month before the draft, then had to trade up again because the entire planet knew they wanted a WR.
