Saints has beaten Green Bay playin their best ball('09) when GB was on a lil mini streak,
The Saints didn't even play GB in '09

They have the better running back while we have more depth at the position.
That's my point. The NFL is no longer a one back league. Turner is more likely than not, going to have issues this season, and I don't think their back ups (depth) at RB are even comparable to ours.
Same with the TE position. I like Graham and I like David Thomas.
Point in case, I think at worst, the Saints are slightly better than the falcons, but Atlanta, clearly better than new orleans? Not even close.

If I'm not mistaken... and I might be.. I think he still picked us to win the division.
IMHO
I hope ESPN and all "expert" analysis pick us to lose every game this season. And then when we hoist the Lombardi trophy again they just eat crow.

Nah. I saw on the Herd's page that he had Atlanta finishing a game above us in the South. But it looks like it's been taken down because his predictions had all 32 teams somehow going 24 total games over .500.

Cowherd may want to reconsider his opinion with the Saints' signings of Shaun Rogers, Abreyo Franklin, Turk McBride and Fabian Washington. Throw in the draft picks of Cameron Jordan and Martez Wilson, and the Saints defense has been seriously upgraded.
At this point, on paper, the Saints are a significantly better team than Atlanta.

I said all last year that I thought that we jump started Atlanta's run last season. If Hartley makes that fg, they are 1-2 and we are 3-0. I truly believe that season turns out a lot different if we win that game.

Yeah we need to let that go. I'm actually glad things ended up the way they did for Atlanta. They get all the hype and excitement only to get bitch slapped in their own house after a whole week off.

I'm not hanging on that, just making a point about how Cowherds beloved Falcons got their jumpstart from someone else's mistake. They aren't that great.

Plus, the one thing that ties up all these new players in one big awesome black and gold defensive ribbon...............Gregg Williams
My God, we went from 25th to 4th in defense last year. All we have to do is get back the turnovers, turnover ratio, red zone D, and defensive TDs from '09. Even partially...
Plus, our unhcharacteristic offensive turnvovers put our D in bad situations last year. Not to mention all the injuries....

Yeah, cowherd is pretty smart

As Bugs Bunny used to say - 'what a maroooon.'
He also said Carolina would beat the Saints in the 'upset of the year' and that Florida would upset LSU.
I would love to drop him in a vat of boiling nutria excrement while playing Jole Blon into his ears....

Cowherds "character" on his own radio show is a farking tool. He is cool on Sports Nation. I want to see him, Bayless, Merril Hoge and Herm Edwards on a show. I like Herm but he usually doesn't let people disagree with him. That would be the worst/best show ever
