And apparently has the same average contract value as Mahomes. Chiefs looked crazy (not wrong, just crazy) when they made that deal, but keeps looking like a steal every offseason.

Let me see. Maybe there is more to it than just "there goes the division." How about the fact that with a historically shitty schedule, we blew the division last season. Our coach fricking sucks. Our defense will be a year older. We have big question marks on the OL and big time contract decisions. Let me also mention that we haven't exactly drafted to well the past few seasons so that's why you get a "there goes the division" comment.

Has this statement ever been verified? Not disputing your argument about how pathetic the end result was, just curious where it would rank all time. Atl had an "easier" schedule (.429) that the Saints (.433) last year by 1 game: so not the "easiest schedule of all time".
Funny enough, saw an article at the end of the regular season once the final 2024 opponents were locked, and Atl & Saints were the top 2 for easiest schedules again
