Could Khai Harley be in line for a promotion?

He's brilliant with the cap and invaluable to the organization. There's rumors he could be pursued by other teams. With Loomis striking out on Allen and our draft situation, perhaps it's time to promote from within and move Loomis to another role in the organization.

If we want to keep him or Ireland, one of them will need to be promoted. Why we continue to pretend that Mickey Loomis is the actual GM is beyond me.

Yeah I've been thinking about this. Gayle basically wants Mickey to figure out the sale after her death, so I feel like moving him up into a seniormost management position is a good choice. Let Khai and Ireland run the team.
If it came down to it, I'd prefer making Ireland GM over Harley if it was a retention play. But obviously I'd prefer to keep both.
