So you must not be a business owner that has to pay people to sit home, collect a paycheck and get no production for your company.

Is that the only reason you are against it
Isn't this only for the NFL?
You won't have to pay your employees for it, so why does it matter

Ok, one day. They obviously have the solution for racism. Throw money at it. Committed $250 to “systemic racism” and supporting the battle against the ongoing and historic injustices faced by African Americans”. Problem solved.

You didn't think this thread through and it shows. The fight against social inequality has you all flustered and tied up in knots, huh?

Gentlemen you have to realize that now that Roger has begun the road to grovel, much like Drew found out, there is no end to that road. The demands will be greater and greater until there is no NFL anymore because sane minded people aren’t on board with this. Do you think the average NFL fan ,let’s say in Philly, was sitting around wondering what can Roger do now, oh yeah let’s make up a holiday and increase our loyal fan bases. No they will see it as capitulation to the mob and quit caring. Why do businesses want to alienate their core supporters?

This will be next Black National Anthem

Does the NFL close for other important holidays?

Fourth of July?
Thanksgiving?
Christmas?

That’s not a very woke question.

Roger’s main job should be to make a profit from the league to the owners. I just don’t see how this PR stunt accomplishes that and probably will ultimately hurt the bottom line. I guess we’ll see.

He’s a spineless POS.
What he better be watching for are those players that will target Brees. Needs to be ZERO TOLERANCE!
One strike and you’re out.

Ok Rog and his 32 bosses best dump the players as a part of the anthem pregame or risk much more than they think.

Cut off the festering finger or lose the arm.

I really have no issue with people putting money wherever they wish and if a business wants to create a holiday, so be it.

I still don’t understand all of these inequalities. I wish someone wou,d come up with a definition of terms list. What is social inequality?

I am good with it. Found out thru Ancestry that some of my relatives from way back were slaves. I’ll toast a few in their honor on Juneteenth.

I can promise you if I were an owner, and one of my players knelt , his black arse would be in the unemployment line the next day. My feelings are deep rooted , as I am a disabled COMBAT veteran , and it is a slap in the face ,an affront to me personally, every time one of them kneels during our National Anthem. They all need to do a 4 year stretch in the Marines , or Army, before they play in e nfl. I promise you even some of those a-hole would have a different view on "kneeling".

So your feelings outweigh everyone else's who have said they have no problem with ppl or kneeling or that fact that everyone that kneels says it has nothing to do with the military? or the fact that Kap got the idea to kneel from a military veteran?

In no way did i even hint that my feelings outweigh the power of other's thinking. I simply stated a FACT. They can kneel all day long for all i care , maybe out on I 10 .In fact , preferably out on I 10 . The standing during our National Anthem , and placing your hand over your heart or saluting the flag is a way of showing your respect to the people who have fought so we can live the lives we lead. It's called patriotism . You & the "kneelers" should google it sometimes. Better yet , get up off your arse & join he Marines. I hear they're still looking for a few good people.t
