By all accounts Shough is running a distant 3rd in the QB battle. The players see what the good writers covering the Saints see
Funny how you have this all figured out after three days of practice seriously quit pushing an agenda

Shough will not start at QB…. He Needs time to develop and that’s NORMAL to need time to develop !!
Problem is….he was drafted because Saints THOUGHT with 6 years of college experience.. Shough would be more advanced than what he is now currently showing !!!
I know camp is just starting but everyone seem to think… from they’ve seen of Shough so far.. he’s NOT more advanced !!
Saints Took a gamble and lost.
Not happy about this…but it is ..what it is !
Therefore, if Saints really really struggle at QB this coming year… they MAY have no choice but to draft a QB if they are picking in the Top 5 per 2026 Draft.
If that happens…. I Hope we find a franchise QB … but the 2nd Rd pick on Shough was a Waste as they could have drafted a Quality TE, WR or other position with pick #40.
How much better would most of us feel if we had a quality Rookie TE or WR to add in the mix !!!
Or maybe even a 2nd Round Rookie CB !!
A player attained with pick # 40.
It will play itself out.

Im sorry you didn’t catch my sarcasm. It’s ridiculous our fanbase has these expectations of rookies. I’d start Shough but just because they don’t start him day 1 doesn’t mean anything.

Do you realize how stupid this makes you look? 0-7 is not strictly the QB's fault. Archie Manning was really shitty, too, wasn't he
Do you realize how stupid this makes YOU look?
Archie wasnt a throwaway pick like garbage Rattler.
Are you seriously comparing the two???

To be fair, his supporting cast wasn’t great.

The face painters are wishcasting. I hoped I was wrong and Shough was the answer.
What we saw on film with cowering and panic in the pocket is playing out in camp and the pads aren’t on nor hitting. Our worst fears about a wasted pick are unfolding.

quote:had no one to throw to and a poopoo offensive line where he was running for his life. Last year wasnt his fault. And lol at throwaway 5th round draft pick. You dont know shite about QB play
Rattler was literally a throwaway 5th round draft pick who is 0-7 as an NFL starter
