Are you honestly comfortable w/ Bushrod at LT?

okay with him as a player it's more about what cost. Definitely not worth overpaying (ala Will Smith/Roman Harper) for.

I'd link threads discussing him specifically and other LT options but the thread police is out today. Bryant McKinnie is my short term filler choice.

Yeah he may be number 1, but that's not even a guarantee in a draft with no real "can't miss prospects" at the top of the draft lol. Didn't a LT get drafted first the year Matt Ryan came out? Best LT in 10 years? This dude should just stop talking.

Swap first round picks and give them Ingram and Bushrod, draft the Texas A&M LT w/ the overall #1 pick?

#1 pick for a mid round pick and ingram? Would be the trade rape of the century

For anyone truly curious, to go from #15 to #1 would take all of our draft picks this year and about the first four picks next year.

I agree with the sentiment, but disagree with that price. The disparity between the #1 player and #15 player in this year's draft is remarkably smaller than in previous year's drafts. I think the cost is significantly less than what we are used to.

Luke Joeckel is (a/c to the experts) the best LT to come out in the draft in the past 10 yrs. The Saints have an interest in protecting the franchise QB's blind side, yes? My bad for not knowing Bushrod is not under contract. My point however was...

Holy shite, you were serious?

At least he didn't say to do that trade to get TM7 with the first pick of the draft.

there's so many of those "10-year veteran all-pro" left tackles it seems.

Please suggest veteran players on the roster (other than Ingram) that are under contract and might be attractive to the Chiefs.

Ingram isn't an attractive player to anyone much less a team with Charles, Hillis, and Draughn.

Why would you trade your starting left tackle to pick another starting left tackle (not proven), in a draft where you have a chance to get a solid value pick for a position of desperate need where you are currently drafting.

Please stop posting your GM brainfarts

They stink.

I learned from the experts on here that Bushrod is not under contract, so he isn't the Saints' "starting left tackle." Why don't you blow me?

Yeah, because it takes an expert to look up if a player is a free agent or not.
