do any of you frickheads earn a living spouting your wisdom or do you provide Mr Loomis all of your collective wisdom free of charge?

Yes, I earn a living "spouting wisdom." This thread is dumb. Congrats.

Can you support the idea of your post? Do any research? Think about it for more than 10 seconds? Give a good counter arguement?
Or do you want to just keep embarrassing yourself?

Luke Joeckel is (a/c to the experts) the best LT to come out in the draft in the past 10 yrs. The Saints have an interest in protecting the franchise QB's blind side, yes? My bad for not knowing Bushrod is not under contract. My point however was that the Saints should consider packaging an offer to the Chiefs for the pick, so that they can select Joeckel. Please suggest veteran players on the roster (other than Ingram) that are under contract and might be attractive to the Chiefs.
The concept of an NFL team targeting a player they want and trading up to get him is not new ... see the Falcons and Julio Jones.
BTW, Joeckel has started at LT since his true freshman yr. He is a Business major. His DOB is 11/6/91. He just won the Outland Trophy.

I love it when madden superstars try to act like they know what it takes to make transactions in the real-life NFL

Give it up man, it'll never work... We'd have to give up our whole draft AND drews wife to get that pick

I have a general idea, but not confident enough to go post a thread saying we should make a move
your thread sucks, deal with it

I think he's the #1 but I haven't read this anywhere. Linkage other than Bleacher Report?
--and why not just take Lane Johnson at #15 and give up nothing if ya wanted a LT? He'll blow up the Combine this week.
Lastly, all this LT hubbub is entirely premature until free agency plays out. Bushrod re-signed or another UFA and it is a non-issue IMO. Loomis has historically filled the most glaring needs with free agents (even if not dominant players) to allow flexibility at the draft for BPA.

There's usually a player every draft who someone or a group of someones tout as "the #1 prospect at x position of a generation." They flop or are just mediocre probably about half the time if not more frequently. And none of them are worth 6 players.

Are you honestly comfortable w/ Bushrod at LT? I realize he made All-Pro, but ... I just don't think he's that good.
Yeah, they need defensive players but hopefully Ryan will get more production out of Martez Wilson, for one -- I think he's been underutilized to date. He was a projected 1st round pick that the Saints stole in the 3rd round.
