Lol I get him but tbh, running full speed diving on the ball it happens like that all the time. All on the bounce. Still should've had it. For that reason alone, I'd cut his arse and make him an example if I was Payton.

Yeah I can't be too mad over a 250+ pound man not being able to recover a fumble 2 yards away from the end line running full speed while being chased by roughly 2500 pounds of other very angry men also running full speed.
