Chase Young looked good last night

Two tackles and two QB hits officially.
He was a menace for most of his snaps.

I know I shouldn't get expectations as a Saints fan but I just can't help but get this feeling Chase Young is going to have a breakout season and show what everyone thought he would be out of college.

He had a great interview too saying he is coming in fully healthy and feels the best he has in a long time in training camp.

IF they can stay healthy, the Saints DL should be very good. The package where they line up Young/Granderson at DE and Jordan/Bresse at DT on 3rd down could be scary. Particularly if they decide to add Davis blitzing up the middle to that mix.

I cautiously optimistic about the effect playing and practicing with a beast like Young will have on Fosley and Turner as well as Granderson. Add in Jordans experience, you'd have to be trying pretty hard not to improve.

They did a sideline interview with him and brought this up. When the Saints signed him, they signed him with the understanding that he'd miss a few games. He worked his rehab with his medical team, and was far ahead of expectations.

Saints D should be very competitive if they stay healthy this year. If I’m a SF fan, I’d be screaming to pay Trent Williams whatever he wants. Their O line is skating out there without him.
