Ok so now we’ve established why you don’t like him but please explain how it is you know he’s a “fake” Christian.

I used to stick up for Carr. I have now seen the light through all of his bullshite. He hides behind his Christianity to prove that he's a good guy. He's not. He's an a-hole with thin skin.

Say what you want about Carrs play on the field but he’s a Christian first and he’s never denied that and I can 100% see him making that decision exactly as he said.

Most worldly people can’t grasp that kind of faith but it 100% exists and I don’t know him personally but I can say I believe him because I feel the same way about money. I’ve passed up great deals when it wasn’t right with my faith (never that much ) but that doesn’t matter because it’s only money. When you don’t live for money it’s amazing how you always seem to have enough.

He's the Joel Olsteen of NFL players.

Bruh. That’s much easier to do when you have lifetime earnings over 300,000,000. Let’s not act like this is some good boy shite.
Except for the fact that you never see anyone do this. He did it in good faith and I respect that.

Not buying any of this shite. Of course it is derek’s personality to make himself appear so selfless and noble. We already know he only plays the fake arse Christian card but his behavior told a different tale.

There is no fricking world where the saints restructure Derek's contract if they knew about his shoulder. And dont give me any bullshite about Derek not knowing how bad his shoulder was.

Derek did not tell the team until after the restructure. The saints would have taken him to court, and won, and Derek would look like the fricking dick that he is.

Derek retired and saves face.

That's what happened, and if you think Derek did "the Christian thing" you're more fricking ignorant than the front office.

I'm the same way, I get up every day to make money, but I won't jeopardize my integrity over money. The thing is, I think he got himself into a spot where there was no way forward without basically stealing that money. There's still more to it than what has been said.

I honestly do not believe it’s this black and white. Nobody would ever give up $30M just because. I don’t care how many fans think I’m a villain…. I’m getting that money.

This was about to get ugly. Really ugly.

I would bet a lot of money the NFL pressed both sides to mediate. ANd it seems like a fair result for both sides.

You owe it to your family to make as much as you can, religion aside. This is generational wealth most families will never see. You don't owe the Saints anything.

I’ve given my family something much more valuable.

Freedom from being a slave to money.

If you need money to be happy and fulfilled then you’re fighting a losing battle. The funny thing is people who think money if the goal in life think everyone else that doesn’t think like them is poor when it really them that poor.

I mean he wasn’t stealing crab legs or assaulting women in taxis or yelling ‘Frick her right in the pu$$y’ in public like our other past QB that people seemed to love in here. But yea let’s go with he’s a fake Christian.
