Carr isn't wrong. We can hate his emotional antics on the field which he fixed 2nd half of season. We can agree the dude got demolished the first 10 games of the season, but he seems to be a strong guy and plays hard. It was chicken shite the way MT handled all this. Carr, isn't perfect, and i'd like to see him take some blame in interviews, but overall seems a pretty standup dude.

He followed up with, "just be a man and air it out on the field in front of everyone by yelling like a maniac. That's what real me do."

We have different opinions about Carr. He doesn't miss a game because of pain. I guess he feels guilty throwing those hospital balls.

No one gives a frick what MT says. He didnt listen to what the team said and has screwed the team over since Brees left. Maybe hes just not as good as he thinks he is without a HOF qb throwing to him, so he blames everyone else for his shortcomings.

I respect Carr a hell of a lot more than MT. It’s a violent game and Carr rarely misses games. I know he gets his arse beat out there but fights to stay in and play.

I just went and listened to this segment. He actually says there were times during the season Mike was mad about things and Derek would go confront him about whatever the issue was and Mike didn’t like it/got more mad at him for trying to resolve it

James Jones was 100% on Derek’s side with it saying he’s going to call whoever it is and hash it out

james Jones carr pod

Starts at the 21 minute mark

I’m so tired of this tired pussy as narrative from Saints fans about Carr. I’ve watched Brady, Marino, and MANY OTHER strong willed QBs chew arse on the field and on camera.

The o-line was playing like hammered dog shite, and receivers were running the wrong routes. When the line started functioning half arse well, and the receivers started running the correct routes (and MT quit) Carr was one of the highest rated QBs in the NFC (and once he healed up).

Carr DEFINITELY isn’t perfect, nor do I think he’s a great QB. But he’s a solidly above average QB, who could be REALLY good in the correct scheme.

MT is a bitch, Carr has shown WAY more toughness and leadership than him. Good riddance

2 sides to every story. I'm not saying derek is lying but we'll never know how it all went down between them.

Still not a big Carr fan, but I'll take him on my team over Thomas 10 times out of 10.

Not a fan of either. MT is an immature spoiled brat who acts like a teen with his rants on X. Carr is a self-righteous narcissist who can do no wrong in his own mind. They cannot co-exist which is ironic since MT and Carr in the spring were excited about pairing up. Wish we could ditch them both.

Carr is a narcissist? How the hell do you come to this conclusion without being around the man
You watch him play a game and come to this conclusion. Hard label to put on a man, without knowing him dude.

Normally, that isn’t a bad approach to drama between two people. However, Michael Thomas has now shown a repeated and habitual tendency to cause or at the very least be at the center of drama. At a certain point, when the same common denominator keeps showing up in one situation after another, the “two sides to ever story” line starts to ring hollow. Michael Thomas has clearly shown himself to be a problem on a very public and consistent basis.

You’re talking about the same guy who threw his last qb under the bus when convenient?

Has Carr literally not shown you with your own eyes that he's prone to chewing out his teammates?

I'm firmly on blaming Mike for being way too damn messy. But I'm not going to act like derek didn't share some culpability in all of it.

Mike needs to get over it. Aikman chewed teammates. So did Brady, Manning, Mahomes, etc. Mike has shown to be a repeat offender of taking in house drama and making it public.

A cardinal rule that you absolutely DO NOT break is that you never broadcast the teams dirty laundry in public. Mike turned on Brees and now Carr. How many times does MT have to throw a public temper tantrum before you see with your own eyes that HE’s the problem?

Yeah I'm sure Derek has enough skins on the wall like those guys to earn that right.

You've heard from multiple Raiders staff that Carr wasn't the best teammate, yet we're gonna sit here and act like him yelling at guys on the field isn't a big deal when he never earned that right, and to act like that's all he did would be naive.

Again, we'll never know to what extent it was, but derek has to take some blame for all of this.

No he doesn’t. If Mike wants to bark at Carr behind closed doors, fine. That happens in literally every single organization. What doesn’t happen in functional organizations is a diva WR who hasn’t done much and has been injured every season since the Trump administration going on twitter and bashing the organization and teammates publically. Spin it all you want, but there’s absolutely no excuse for Mike Thomas to go public like he has. Idc how much Carr hurt his feelings.
