He really said one of the issues is that they are doing too much on offense. TOO MUCH?!? Is he fricking kidding? Its the most vanilla offense I have ever seen. Its pathetic. We don't use motion. We don't use play action. We don't do anything complex or creative and he thinks we are doing TOO MUCH?!?

I have never seen anyone be this bad at their job. They honestly need to stop letting him talk to the media. Every time it gets worse. I am one more dumbass statement from him from boycotting the games until he is fired.

The film study of the last four plays is truly a sight to behold.

3 of the 4 were the exact same 4 Verts play. The other was deep routes and deep post

Thats too much. Next time we will max protect and only run 3 verts. 4 was really confusing.

There’s a guy on Twitter photoshopping Pete into movie scenes every day until he’s fired.

This year has shown me that I take too much priority in the success of the Saints and not enough priority in my relationship with Jesus. This year has shown that I need to realign my priorities and grow in my relationship with Jesus rather than worrying about this team's success. I'll always be a fan but this season has been a wake up call that I need to get my priorities back in order!

Even on the TD to shaheed we had two WRs running the same route 3 yards apart. Lucky for the saints Thomas and olave got all the attention when in reality one corner could have covered both.

Is this supposed to be evidence that we are doing too much? To me its evidence that its all a giant cluster frick. Not only is Carmichael one of the worst play callers in the history of the league, he's also terrible at the teaching and communicating aspect of his job.

Its the NFL, there is zero reason the OC shouldn't be able to effectively communicate assignments to his players. Did Sean Payton "do too much" when our offense looked exponentially more complex? NO! He just made sure everyone knew their job and if they didn't they got benched!!!

Underhill was on the Baton Rouge radio show Off the Bench this morning and compared that last series to Kevin Costner at the end of Tin Cup. I laughed. Then cried.

He didn’t want the fricking job in the first place and people are supposed to think he’s going to be successful at it? He was a yes man, plain and simple. Sean has always had a large ego and the offense was his creation so he hired the guy who would never challenge him or disagree. He basically hired him as his pet. The fact that DA coached in the same building for all those years and he has the audacity to keep this guy at OC should cost him his job as well as Carmichael’s. There’s no excuse to that level of negligence. The best we can honestly hope for is we tank the rest of the season getting DA canned then get a top 10 draft pick in a QB loaded class and whoever the hell will be calling the shots by that time is smart enough to take that QB Carr’s contract be damned. Unfortunately that will still be Loomis because he could murder someone and Gayle wouldn’t fire him.

Yeah I have no idea why DA keeps putting him in front of the media. He never helps himself and honestly just makes himself look worse. Is this DAs weird way of punishing Carmicheal???

I HAVE to believe that Pete has some skills at something or he wouldn’t have been here so long. I bet he’s probably really good at breaking down film and structuring a gameplan. He’s probably also very organized and took a lot of this prep work off Sean.

But being a glorified secretary doesn’t translate to calling plays and making adjustments in game.

Not to sound like a douche (I’m gonna sound like a douche), I coach my sons flag football team and it’s easy to lose track of things at that low of a level. Being able to balance strategy with play calls and adjustments and knowing the in game situation and personnel and time management, it’s a lot. And it’s proven at this point that Pete can’t handle it all.

I unfortunately disagree that we should hope to tank. I fully believe that you should always cheer for your team to win. The only way I’d cheer for tanking is if it was essentially announced by the franchise that we are tanking for a good pick.

As long as the saints are trying to win games, I have to cheer for them to win.

AND does not translate to holding players accountable.
