On another note, he has taken a lot of carries that otherwise could have worn down 1 or 2 of our other backs.
Pierre thomas has stayed fully healthy all year, which he hasnt done in a while.
Chris Ivory was able to stay on the PUP and rehab for the first few weeks of the season.
And Sproles has also been able to remain healthy.
The plan going forward is to ride his gump arse for 10-12 weeks. Then when he gets hurt, we turn the rock over to the real talent in the backfield while his bitch arse watches from the sideline on crutches during the playoffs and Super Bowl.
And yes I am being sarcastic.

I'm willing to reserve judgement for another year.
He didn't blow me away. He didn't make me think he's horrible as well. When I re watched the first lions game, he had a few nice runs. In hindsight with ivory back healthy and sproles setting the world on fire, the pick doesn't make quite as much sense; but who is to say he didn't help keep certain people fresh.

This seems a bit of a mix of Knee jerk and butthurt.

the point is, having 3-4 RBs keeps all of them fresh.
if you dont think that is important, then look back to last year vs Sea.
now look back to last week and our 170 yards rushing

Missed the part about my post being sarcasm. I agree. We need 4 backs on the active roster and 1-2 up and coming studs on the practice squad to account for injuries. I don't want to be down to Jed F'n Collins as our starting and only RB.

i saw the sarcasm comment, i wasnt sure if you were mocking me or agreeing.

Total agreement and mocking the Ingram haters. I am a Saints fan first, LSU 2nd. Ingram helped us this year and he will improve.
I didn't want to hear his Bama BS so I clicked unfollow. It's that simple.

Ingram going to pull a Aaron Rodgers, be a back up for 3 years and learn the game. That's what I am hoping.

I like Ingram and think he will be good for us (although I think he is the worst of all of our runningbacks...he is a rookie, so for now he gets some slack). I actually LOVED the pick when we got him.
...but a couple of his tweets were annoying. The ones calling people "lames" and "haters" seemed to be intentionally trying to piss off LSU/Saints fans. He went down a bit in my book.

I think that was more in response to tweets like these:
quote:
@brian_forschler Brian Forschler @Mark_Ingram28 shut the frick up. You play for new Orleans you pussy
quote:
crento1 Chad Renton @ @Mark_Ingram28 stick a fork in your NFL career cause you can't hold ivory's jock
quote:
crento1 Chad Renton @ @Mark_Ingram28 Not you after last night buddy.
The last being a tweet replying to a random link Mark sent out. Chad the super Saints fan, trolling his own team's players.
Given this tiny sampling of the crap he was getting last night, and I think Mark's reply was tame and tasteful.

i'll agree with this it was silly of him.

Even Albert Breer (NFL Network guy) tweeted something like "Okay Mark Ingram, I think you're getting a little TOO involved there..." after he was pumping up Richardson on the sideline.
That also kind of irked me. I've never seen a former player do that. They usually chill on the sidelines and act...better than that? I don't want to put it that way, but he kind of overstepped an unwritten rule in my opinion.
Nothing to make me hate the guy, but it does annoy me both as an LSU and Saints fan.

Whats wrong with being an interventional radiology tech? You have me confused with a dumb arse that takes pics of broken bones . How's things going at Taco Bell?
Posted on 1/10/12 at 8:49 pm to xraytech
Just that nobody grows up saying that is what they want to be when they get older. You can do it with an Associate's degree. And, no, I don't work at Taco Bell. I'm a GS-13, Step 3 S/A making LEAP pay. I brought home $108k in 2011, but thank you anyway.
Please stay off ST.
ETA: Be whatever you want to be, but I don't get why you think being an xray tech is so shite hot that it needs to be your screen name. I bet it is the first thing that you tell the ladies at parties. Well, that and how much the Saints suck.

That's why I had a problem with it too..he gets all that money from the Saints and, well I am sorry, it just didn't look right. To most of us, the Saints & LSU are one, and he should understand this...
