How do 12 people downvote this? There’s absolutely no argument against it. Hill is pushing 30 and the thing that makes him great in small doses(his physical running style) would be a huge detriment to a full time running qb. Lamar so good because he doesn’t get touched on many plays and still picks up nice chunks.

If Taysom runs its 10 times he’s likely getting hit on 9 of them

I legit think Hill could start for a team.
Lamar Jackson no, that dude is good at what Harbroug did for him in Bal. I dont think he would have succeded in a system that wasnt designed around him strenghts.

He is a good QB. it will be interesting to see when they rematch against the Pats. to see if Belicheck has an answer for him.

That could be said for almost any quarterback. Jackson is killing it this year and should win MVP but I am curious to see how he does next year after having a year of tape on him.

Two different things you are talking about....Taysom is probably the most athletic football player on the Saints, and pure straight line speed, might be faster than Lamer.

I agree with you, Lamar's agility and running ability is amazing, a different type of athleticism than Taysom.

Also, from the sample size we've seen from both QBs, Lamar is in another league as a passer.

What makes lamar great is the wiggle and agility
Taysom is way more straight line

Also lamar has grown into a much better passer

So, we’re assuming that Taysom can’t? I agree with most responses that Jackson is more shifty and avoids hits better. The other things I think he’s just improved since becoming a pro.

We'll never really know till he starts. Just like Lamar.

I believe in Taysom. I'm a truther.

Goff and Baker, RG3 all had decent seasons. But Lamar this season is as unstoppable as I’ve ever seen. #1 defense #31 defense it doesn’t matter he always goes off. If he has a drop off next year he’ll still be good

while i highly doubt hill can be the qb jackson is, i wouldn't get too carried away with saying jackson is more athletic.

actually, hill is the superior pure athlete. faster, stronger, more powerful, etc.

Taysom should and definitely is capable of being the #2 receiving option we are lacking....I think he could be the best slot receiver in the league and we need to make this happen ASAP
